I know we should start this pattern right after af, but I typically spot for 1-2 days after my normal flow. Would I wait to start until the spotting is gone or just the normal flow? Thanks!

I have no idea sorry. Just wanted to chime in and ask someone if they know the reason why every 4 days is meant to sway pink? Hope someone answers your question soon :)
Do whatever is comfortable for you and your DH. My spotting is so scant that we don't notice, but if yours is more than that you may not want to. Just keep up BDing until past the latest you've ever Zoe's in case you ovulate later than expected.Quote:

BDing every 4 days is like having only one attempt in your fertile window. Opks don't always work well for people and BDing every 4 days takes a lot less stress out of TTCing.Quote:

Not necessarily depending on how old DH is. We have found the longer people sway and not getting pregnant, BDing every 4 days promotes better sperm health and helps to get pregnant. Think of it this way, BDing every 4 days is just like having an attempt at the positive opk. Most people start out doing all sorts of sway tactics. As people go on not getting pregnant, they drop all the lubes, jellies, and MAY need to switch to BDing every 4-3 days to get pregnant while keeping diet and exercise (if you're doing that).Quote:

What XX said. I'd start whenever you're comfortable. I personally like BD during AF so I'd start as soon as my cramps abate.
We started last night, but still debating on doing every 3 instead of every 4 with one extra. It will probablh be a last minute decision, but I am tired of opks!Quote:

I decided to go with the every 3 days and will decide it I will throw in an extra after my follicle scan on monday....depends on if I am able to get the trigger shot or not.
I almost never get true positives and O late so I hate OPKs too! Plus I don't get much progression/warning often, and none with most brands.

Yes, but you guys have got to realize that the whole thing with the frequency patterns (with the exception of abstain which is old leftover Shettles stuff), I MADE UP 4 years ago. Based on the info available info at the time which seemed to indicate sperm numbers swayed pink somehow, we guessed that frequency was probably swaying and I came up with those patterns to try and capitalize on that. But it hasn't worked. They do prob. sway pink a little bit but they lower odds of conception so much that tons of people had to drop them just to get pg at all,a nd then the results were not as high as I would want to see for the trouble they cause. In fact, it became apparent that it was number of attempts that were swaying and not frequency (at least not in any reliable way) and so it is time for frequency to give way to one attempt and getting pg with that, instead of keeping frequency in the mix for NO REASON and then having people add attempts to up odds of conception IT DOESN'T WORK.Quote:

I'm horny during AF and everything feels more sensitive down there, I presume from the blood flow. None of my partners ever minded either. Luckily my periods are light especially after CD1 the day of cramps, and I've noticed I actually stop bleeding temporarily during BD, so it's not even that messy. I've found orgasms help my cramps too, even if just briefly.
The only time I don't have much libido is just after AF, around CD5-8 most cycles, when I'm at my dryest. Rrwally my only dry time.
Yep it's mind over matter - if you don't mind shouldn't matter and Ya I've found very seldom that there is a mess to deal with
