Since he has been taking the supps, DH has taken longer to finish in bed. Is that the result of that Carnitine stuff? When I last bought it at the drug store, the lady helping me (I know her) asked why I needed it: "Your husband must not be having any problems down there--you have 3 kids!" :suprise:
Anyway, does that stuff act like viagra, or what?

Carnitine is supposed to raise testosterone. I'm giving it (among other things (in hope) to raise his sex drive, but he might as well be dead how low his sex drive is. 1-2 times a week, weekends only! :mad:Quote:

I am guessing the L-Carnitine helps with something. I am guessing it is the culprit for the longer than usual sex. I guess I shouldn't complain.
My DH's sex drive isn't what it used to be back when we were younger, but I guess that also might be because we are older, have kids, etc. and he always seems tired when we finally do get a moment alone!

FWIW my husband takes FOREVER and has ever since we've been together, so 20 years. It's actually kind of a problem because I don't always want to schedule in 90 minutes at the end of my day and he feels like anything less than that is boring and lame, IKYKWIM.
My point??? Oh yeah. Just that taking a while doesn't keep a guy from making boys!
Atomic--your DH is slow in the sack too, eh? I know I shouldn't complain, but I am fast, so it gets kind of...tiring, I guess, when I have to keep going just for DH. But it is good to know that it doesn't mean anything as far as swimmers are concerned!

I got some Google hits that I would rather NOT have ever even read the titles of! o.O Thanks to Wikipedia I found out that having sex (rather than masturbating) increases sperm count by 70-120% (WOW) and semen amount by 25-40%, probably from secretions from the prostate which we know to be higher in pH. So I can see that DTD a long time may give enough time for those numbers to rise to the higher end of that scale!!!

Just to clarify, it's not that there are more Y sperm, but that there are more sperm all together, which seems to give the Y sperm an advantage that we don't understand.Quote:
