This happened to my step brother and his girlfriend. They were hoping for a boy, but they had a girl. I knew it would be a girl- it seems so many people I know have had girls that were oopsies!!Quote:

I can imagine your worries, I had one not so long ago! But like the girls before me said, a lot of oopsies are girls, like my first one! People get girls without swaying all the time. Pink dus your way!
It is always scary when you are facing an unplanned pregnancy...I've been there and I get it. I am sorry for how you are feeling right now. My DD2 was an oopsie, she was also one attempt in the fertile window. DD1 was planned, but she was also one attempt in the fertile window :)
We just moved into a house. We were talking about another baby but money is tight. Now I'm so nervous. I think I am going to wait until after I see the doctor. Then I will talk to my husband about it.Quote:

No I have yet to speak with him. My last pregnancy was complicated. The baby had a cystic hygroma. Lots of testing even had a CVS. Before that I miscarried twins. Once the doctor confirms the pregnancy I will talk to him.Quote:

He knows. He confronted me the other night about my behavior (higher sex drive). We are dealing with this unexpected event. I had my first docs appt yesterday... even heard the heart beat. Due to being high risk I'm seeing a genetic counselor. I also have to see a dietician and take care of my diabetes. Due date 1/23/16 :pray: all goes well.

Birth Story:
Due to diabetes the MFM scheduled me for an induction. On 1/19 I checked into the hospital at 4pm. Around 5pm I had a room and by 6pm had the cervix softener. Around 8pm had an epi. The silly resident poked me twice while the doctor poked me once. Neither one of them was able to bring me any pain relief. I spoke to my nurse and made sure they didn't send those bozo's back into my room. Another doctor came and within 10 mins of him coming into the room I was on cloud nine. No pain. At midnight I was still about 4. I stayed at a 4 all throughout the night and into the next day. No progress. Finally the nurse who started this journey with me was back on duty. I explained to her what happened after she left. It was about 7am. She called the OB on call. They upped my pit and by 8:34 am my baby was born. My MFM hardly had any time to put his scrubs on. He did have to cut me since the baby was stuck. Her shoulders made it difficult for her to come out along with my narrow canal. Once she was safe and sound in my arms I breathed a sigh of relief. Finally I had my baby girl with me.
