Today I had an ultrasound at 30 weeks. It was a sonographer I hadn't had before so I told her we were team yellow. I then said if she needed me to look away, to let me know. She said "nah, you'll be fine " my mom immediately thought girl bc boy parts at 30 weeks would be apparent and need to be looked away from at certain times. I'm not so sure. She did measure femurs, belly, arms, everything. Your thoughts?
I don't think so. At 30 weeks things are pretty swished and parts can look similar. On the other side of that though, both my sons and daughters were obvious at 30 weeks, not just my sons.
I think it's actually hard to see gender when the baby is that large.
30 weeks is tough to tell what is going on because everything is squished together and not easy to see.

I was team green with ds2, purely because he gave nothing away at my 20 week scan - we wanted to know. I had a scan at 30 weeks but as I so desperately wanted a girl I chose to ignore the obvious penis and didn't ask my consultant for confirmation either. I think it just depends how baby is lying and if you get lucky with a gender shot or not.
