Help!!! What would you do??? Atomic?

So had flashing smile for 2 days but left for vacation so got attempt in thinking it would be solid next day. Now I'm on 2nd day past attempt and switched to regular clearblue and still no smile. If I get smile by tomorrow 3rd day past attempt is that still a good shot? Or try again. 4 th day we def. Will try again but wondering if positive opk 3 days after is too far out. That will really suck if I go past 4 and have to attempt again because I didn't bring my acijel with me:( uggg should've brought it jic. Now I have nothing to add but zyrtec. Rrrrr. Anyway wwyd????

Also testing like crazy and am not making it the full 4 hours can that be causing false negatives? Or could I have missed my surge even if I'm testing every 12 hours and sooner? Do some people surge only last a couple hours? Hope soy ISO didn't change my whole ovu time.

You could switch to every 4 day pattern. That would cover your bases and is what I did this month too. Don't worry about the acijel. Just do jump and dump. That reduces odds of conception enough on it's own IMO. Good luck xx

So even if I get positive opk today or 3rd day do another attempt on 4th day? Never buying that advanced flashing kind again. Much prefer the regular digital.

I see a lot of people doing bd every 4 days but have read that sperm can last 5-7 days. Isn't that putting us back in 2 attempts zone? Maybe girlee sperm was there waiting about to get it that fifth day but along came the boys lol. If I don't see a smily face tomorrow I'm gonna scream. Even then if that is 3 days past attempt, then smiley could be 12-48 hours to actually O. Is that too far out Atomic???

Yes. With E4D method you don't worry about when you get your positive. You just DTD every 4 days. Easy :)

I know its easy but could potentially be 2 attempts not one. Rough call. Sway harder and stick with one attempt or try to get prego on first try like my others and put another attempt in......

Every 4 days realistically will only be 1 attempt :)

We BDed every four days for 5 cycles and it wasn't until I ended up having an O-1 attempt that caused me to get my BFP. I agree that an O-4 or more reduces the odds of conception, especially if you are doing J and D and/or using lubes/jellies.

Last night cm was watery, clear. This morning cm was whiteand creamy. Wish I was checking it before. Maybe I missed O somewhere along the lines. On cd14 today. Was 30 days last cycle and 35 before that. Only 3rd ppaf so getting back to my normal, light no cramps afs. Or do you think O is otw? I usually have very noticeable ewcm but was using the acijel and antihistamine so didn't even bother checking all this time. Uggg

Well no reason to use opks now just creamy cm. So either I o'd already and opk didn't get it or I'm gonna 0 later. Just tested and of course negative. Not sure why the advanced would start flashing that early 5 days ago. Think soy ISO would do that? Guess we shall see

Too funny. Well its the 4th day negative opk so that's 6 days after the first flashing smile. I switched to regular digi and those have been all negative. Guess I'll just go for it whenever now which sucks because I really wanted my acijel to be part of my sway and didn't bring it with me. Used it 4 days ago rrrrrr.

This is one of those crystal ball questions that I honestly do not know. My advice in this situation is to flip a coin and do what the coin tells you.

Yes, soy iso can absolutely change when you ovulate.

This is a huge reason why I like people to wait for solid smiley. It's your sway, your way, of course and always your decision to make but I have seen this happen to a bunch of people, they go to high and then sit there day after day and if you tried for a cutoff by aiming for the last high before solid smiley, well, this doesn't really work out. I really dislike that type of fertility monitor because this same thing has happened to a whole bunch of people.

Sperm technically may last 5-7 days but pregnancies from 5-7 days before O are scarce. Many times when people think they conceived from an attempt really far before O like that, they ovulated early. When scientists tested it using high tech methods to verify ovulation, they found that the vast majority of pregnancies came from sex o-3 through O day and not those really long cutoffs or sex after ovulation. Swaying means this is even more the case because it makes less and more hostile EWCM and the sperm can't survive that long.

:agree: I have seen 9,324,675 people try to get pregnant from 4 and 5 day cutoffs and NONE ever did. Very few get pregnant from 3 day cutoffs either. When people think that they did, and then I talk to them about it, it turns out that they have no idea when they even ovulated, I look at their chart and it's obvious they ovulated early, or they normally have long cycles and got pregnant from BD on CD 12-14...so they probably had a normal cycle that month and Oed early. I have people tell me all the time they got pregnant a week after ovulation or with 2 week cutoffs. You guys have to realize that many people out there, smart, highly educated people, do not have even the most basic grasp of how the menstrual cycle works and so when you're talking to people who say X, Y, and Z about conception, keep in the back of your mind that they may not have any idea what they're talking about.

Thank you. I was def. Not purposely trying for a cut off but was leaving for vacation at mils so went for it. Last month I had negative and then solid next day so after having flashing for two days thought I could catch it. I got the advanced by accident and have been using the regular digi now. I'll keep testing the rest of the month.

Solid this afternoon. Whoo hoo. Course I didn't have anything but j&d. Haven't noticed any ewcm like I usually do but still want to take benedryl or something. Is it too late?

5.5 days from what I thought was attempt so counting as one since O won't come for 12-48 hours anyway. Attempt at solid smiley:) and the soy ISO didn't change my O. Last month got solid at cd17. This time cd16. Last time had lots of cramping and only took 80. This time took 120 and so far good.

No antihistamine after attempt, will dry up fluids that sperm and egg need!!
