Bub is still very early, at 11+6 but US tech was happy to give me her educated guess based on the nub theory so I'm feeling hopeful. Just want some backup opinions from you guys, considering you look at them so often ;) haha

Now I'm scared! I had an ultrasound with my ob today. She told me it was too early to see (12+3) because boys and girls look the same at this gestation (blah blah blah...) but she still went up from below during the scan and had a look, although she didn't tell me that's what she was doing. I was looking in between the legs and I could see something poking in between, it was clear as day and I recognise from seeing on my 3 sons! Now I'm terrified! I think I could be having a 4th son.... Google doesn't have any potty shots of girls at 12 weeks that look like that...

I Wouldn't rely on a potty shot view at this stage as they all have a nub between their legs which would protrude and give the look of boy parts, you still have a 50/50 chance here. Will you be finding out?

Have you got a picture of your potty shot? 11 weeks was too early for a guess, they all look girly at this stage. I hope you are having a girl, but I am leaning slightly boy unfortunately. Fingers crossed for you!!
No Claire33, my ob wasn't prepared to give me any potty shot pics :(
I'm still seeing a definite fork on the first 12w shot, and do see stacking in the 12+3 shot, but also questioning the angle vs the spine?

Latest pic taken 12+3 looks like a boy to me. The nub looks like it is clearly rising. Anything taken before 12 weeks needs to be regarded because both genders look the same.

Forks can be seen in both girl and boy nubs. Will you be finding out before birth?

I don't think your chances of girl are gone, it could be that the 12+3 nub is not completely captured and that it is not stacking but parallel to spine. FX for you!
It looks quite boyish to me. Where you have drawn the pink on I think if you dipped down into that black patch it would be a classic boy. Big hugs xx I hope I'm wrong. I just saw very obvious stacking on my nub (at 10 weeks!) the other day so I totally know how you feel. I already have 3 boys too. I will cross everything (for us both) xx

Your first ultrasound was too early to see. Your second ultrasound was too early to see, either, and certainly too early to see a potty shot, only a nub. Your tech should have never given you a guess at 11 weeks and your OB is absolutely right - TOO EARLYQuote:
