So I just got my first beta numbers at 14 dpo and they were at 310.
Does anyone know if high numbers of beta correlates with multiples?
I took 100 mg clomid and I had 3 follicles ( 21.5, 18, 19) so that's why I'm asking and a little concerned.
Can people with either singletons or twins please share their beta numbers with me ?

That's a little high but not outrageous. In HT, we've seen really high betas turn out to be just one. Sometimes crazy doubling time can mean multiples but I don't think there's any way to know until u/s.
Occasionally but there have been many many more cases where high betas were singletons.
My beta # 2 at 16dpo is 610 and my progesterone is 68.
My RE did warn me that I might be looking at twins. I'm kinda freaking out.

I have seen multiple starting betas at 700+ at 10dpt and the norm is 100 with a single baby. I really don't think beta numbers tell you that much and your doubling time is normal and with multiples, that is where in HT we sometimes see a crazy jump.
You did have three mature follicles though so it could be 1,2 or 3. Good luck!
My niece had her betas triple every two days and the doctors swore she'd have twins. When she finally got to have her first ultrasound there was only one little baby :)
They say that to everyone. I don't know why they do, but they do. I think they just like to mess with people's minds. They see kajillions more people than we do and have to know that betas do not always or even USUALLY indicate twins. Most people find out at an ultrasound and not from their betas.Quote:

My beta was high and I transferred 2 but 1 healthy baby x

I had my betas done at 4 weeks and then like 5 weeks; I can't remember what they were but no sounding alarms or red flags... I have a midwife appt tomorrow. Since I want to get the panorama test done I want an an ultrasound first to confirm there is only one. I can't do panorama if it's twins.

Hey Healthy! I don't think your betas seem outrageously high. Although you know with more than one mature follicle there is always a chance of multiples. If I remember correctly XXforhubby had super high betas and has just one little one. Can't wait for the u/s!!
Good luck on the ultrasound. remind me if you took 100 mg or 50 mg clomid?

Just looked at my notes in FF so at around 4wks they were 197 and then 8 days later they were 5913. I've never looked at a beta chart for multiples but no one seemed concerned so I assume it's normal anyway

I just found out I am having identical twins. I don't know what beta means? But my HCG at 5 weeks with twins was 21,000 and 7 weeks was 75,000. I hope this helps! I am 10 weeks and I get seen next week (I don't know what 10 week HCG is for me yet.) :( Good luck!

I'm having identical twins. 9 days past a day 5 transfer it was 269. 11dpt was 608. I stopped writing it down after that so I don't remember any further results. Good luck!
