Shakeology, Protein and the mini pill

Hi All,

I am new this forum after two failed ingender girl sways with my first two children.

I am currently completely overwhelmed (but very appreciative) after reading all of atomic roses start here first guides. I am confused about protein as well. I'm currently doing the 21 day fix and I am drinking shakeology. This plan focuses very strongly on protein with both the shakes and additional three recommended servings of high protein food per day. Should I quit this as I prepare for my 3rd girl sway?

Also, is getting pregnant on the minipill a girl sway technique? I tend to be very fertile and got pregnant the first time both times with both boys. I know two people who became pregnant on the mini pill and both had girls. Is this something worth attempting? I'm not in a rush to get pregnant, but if I take the mini pill at a different time every day I may still get pregnant on it.

If anyone was wondering, my most recent sway (which I used IG to plan) included the following sway techniques: Diet, Cranberry, Cal, Mag for DH for 2 mos, peppermint tea 3x a day, refresh every 3 days, sylk lube, O12 and cut off, jump and dump, tighty whities, showering beforehand. My husband actually has low testosterone which we found out accidentally after a blood test. I just keep making boys anyways.... I'm wondering what to add this time in an attempt to have success finally.

Is there a thread indicating what is different between the IG and GD plans?

Shakeology has a lot of nutrients and are probably not going to be your best bet for a girl.

Coming off the pill does seem to sway pink and we've had decent results using it as a sway tactic but for safety reasons I prefer that you just take the pill as prescribed, then come off it and try to catch the first egg or two, instead of trying to take the pill "wrong" and get pg while still on it. That may not be safe nd may up odds of miscarriage considerably.

Tell me more about your IG sway diet you were following.

I also got my IG opposite taking calcium, magnesium, and several other sway supps recommended by IG. We are getting darn good results without the supps and taking only fiber and folic acid. One thing to absolutely avoid like the plague is the probiotics like acidophilus. We got such bad results with that (one of the only things that was ever less than 50-50) that we now use it only for blue sways with a lot of success!

My strong recommendation is to stick with one attempt. We have gotten outstanding results with that. The jellies and other pH stuff like cranberry isn't working at all and is getting neutral results, indicating they are doing nothing but cut odds of conception.

Please just ask, ask, ask, anything that doesn't make sense to you. There is always a reason behind the differences.

Thanks for the response! The diet I followed was basically low cal, less meat, no caffeine and a lot of dairy. The supplements that I took were calcium/mag/zinc mix. It was over two years ago so I do not remember all of the details and it looks like their directives have changed some since I was TTC in 2012.

Would my husband's low testosterone impact this at all? Is it worth adding Vitex despite the fact that i'm an every 28 day cycle girl? I actually feel ovulation so I know exactly when I'm ovulating. My period comes every fourth saturday at 10am. I'm that regular.

I was going to order aci jel after reading some of the read here firsts, but are you thinking to just do one attempt with fiber and folic acid? Should my husband be taking anything?

Dairy can be problematic becuase it is SOO nutrient dense, the way people go after it sometimes on IG/French diets they may as well be swaying blue (and that is not in any way your fault of course!) IT's really quite different where people are using small amounts of skim dairy, eating mostly green beans and cucumbers while taking cal/mag supps vs. the gals that are drinking quarts/gallons of milk a day, a dozen eggs, a cup of tahini - it seems like on the surface, it's the same type of diet, but really they're drastically different.

Caff is TOTALLY debunked and may even sway pink in larger amounts. Coffee is better than tea. The idea that it ever "leached calcium from the body" was totally disproved and we aren't any too sure that minerals even do anything anyway, plus we've gotten good results with it.

Low T, on paper, should technically sway blue but the catch is that all that is hypothesis with very little data. There's never been an actual study where blood levels of testosterone for men or women were tested and compared with gender of baby conceived.

Vitex has really been disappointing lately. It's totally up to you, I do think it sways pink, and I even think it helped my sway somewhat with DD, but as a general rule it's been causing so much trouble the last few months for mediocre results, if you're not feeling it, I'd leave it out.

Acijel in our results was neutral. Use at your discretion, if you believe in pH (I got a boy with pH of 4.5 so it was very easy for me to give up on that LOL) then it's much better/safer than douching but the results are not indicating it's helping and it is really lowering odds of conception considerably.

Should we be trying things to raise my husband's testosterone? Are you still recommending supplements for the men?

LE Diet longer than 12 weeks with fiber, exercise 60 min a day 6-7 days a week, one attempt, and Clomid if you can get it have been getting good results. Also drinking coffee and alcohol

I wouldn't do anything to raise your husband's T levels if you're swaying pink. We may not know if this is a for real thing or not but as long as he's able to DTD and has sperm production happening I'd just leave it there. I would not give him any supps tho as those are made

Also, how do I get clomid? I'm guessing it is prescription only, right?

Yes, it is prescription from your doctor. Some doctors just give it to people for practically no reason, and others don't give it to anyone even when there is a medical reason so it's really hard to know how to advise you guys.

oh sorry I never completed my thought...they are made to up fertility and may sway blue.
