Hi
Could anyone have a guess at what baby is. Sonographer did mention what she thinks it is based on nub but want to see what others thought. The last 2 pics are upside down as baby was stubborn and wouldn't move and I don't have any other decent pics. TIA

Thanks true. The more im looking at the pics the more im convincing myself its a boy. Im sure im seeing scrotum in 2nd pic and penis in the third. But boy do I hope im wrong

Initially bubs was hanging upside down and she said she couldn't see anything dangling and guessed girl. Then when baby was in the right position for nub guessing she said it looks pointed up and likely will be a boy. Ive researched nubs for the last 3 hours and still no more convinced either way except hoping and praying

I can't make out a clear nub in any of those shots so I don't have a guess.
I kept thinking it was the nub in the last shot just up from the spine??

I see what you're talking about in the third pic but I really don't think nub theory is accurate if baby is upside down. The other pics don't really have any gender clues. I have my fingers crossed this your girl!
Thanks ksmom. Makes me wish i didn't even ask gender 😂 but im thinking of going for gender only scan in a few weeks.
At first she said girl as baby was upside down and she said she couldn't see any dangly bits but i didn't think you would see 'dangly bits' at that gestation?

I think boys and girls still look similar at that stage since they both have nubs. DS2 had barely a nub at that point so at my NT scan I thought it looked girly. I think it's still too hard to tell for sure. Hopefully you can get a gender scan to put your mind at ease so you can know either way.
We could clearly see DS3 was a boy at 13+5. The fact that there is nothing obvious at this point makes me think you have a great shot at pink! We knew we were having boys at our scans taken at or above 13 weeks.

That gives me hope XX. I wish i knew about this theory with my other boys. Im at work atm (night shift) but im eager to get home and find my old ultrasounds and book in a gender scan

I thought i seen a potty shot in the last pic (which looks to swollen to tell anyway) but i think its leg and cord as baby looks upside down.

Ladies
Ive been looking through nub pics on the thread and the more im starting to look the more i think the nub i seen was possibly girly if not at least 50/50 rather than 'likely a boy'.
Some of the nub pics i have seen for boys point more of a 60-70 degree angle which mine was less but i have seen boy nubs like that too.
What has stumped me is the amount of boy parts on display at that gestation aswell (as you have said for your boys XX)
Im just holding out hope the fact she couldn't see dangly bits particularly as babe was upside down as hope.
This is my last chance for a girl fx and praying. 19more days

Me too I have 2 boys ttc the third and if I fall pregnant I won't believe it's a girl for ages....but it will prob be my third boy anyway. But positive thoughtsQuote:

I can see why you think boy with original 3rd pic as I think I see it too. But wouldn't be 100% convinced it's a boy nub cos if you look the spine is twisted by way baby is laid which throws off the nub anyway. Praying it's your girl. I've 3 boys and an angel daughter so praying this little one is my 2nd chance at a living daughter x
