Second guessing ultrasound...

I stupidly went on ingender's site and looked at their ultrasound opposites thread and now I'm not so sure this is really a girl. The one picture looks like it's taken from too far back and could be scrotum and the other one looks like a girl, but I'm not so sure. I have an ultrasound at 24 weeks and 28 weeks so I'll be having the tech double check each time, but right now I'm having doubts! Are these ultrasound pictures good shots of a girl? She was able to tell me right away what the gender was so she didn't really look around too much (even though I did make her double check 3 times...)

Im pretty confident thats a girl. My boys had their whole package on display at their anatomy scan which was an obvious distinction in comparison to the above pic.

Completely get your doubts though. I think i would be the same.

Looks pretty girly to me! My boys all clearly had something between their legs. Did not look like this at all.

Yeah, I don't see the classic "turtle" shot that both my boys had! I don't see any testicles or penis there!!!!

That's definitely a girl! It was very obvious with both my boys at that point...like there was no hiding it. LOL This was DS2 around 18 weeks for comparison: Attachment 29404
His boy parts were even more obvious when I had another ultrasound at 22 weeks. You've got a little girl in there, enjoy! :)

I dont know how to post something myself. But just wanted to ask about my scan. What do you ladies think... its very exciting for me as iv suffered miscarriages and once in a lifetime can do this.

Hi just want to say I read your thread about failed sways. I bet it was a nice surprise finding out sway #4 worked and u were wrong! I too swayed for baby #3 and swore I was having another boy even after a very girly nub at 12 weeks and 3 days. I figured I would be the one to have a girly nub and still have a boy. No I was wrong and am expecting my 3rd child aka my 1st DD on May 25th 2016 like you! I only have a pic of the 3 lines from the typical potty shot view however I made the doctor check after the tech and she was able to get a very similar shot as your daughter. I believe its safe to say u r having your first daughter! Congratulations!

P.S. I posted a pic of my only potty shot. If it wasn't for the similar view to your daughters pic that my high risk doctor showed me I would still be in complete denial. :babyf:

Nykolzway, thank you! That's a great potty shot! My tech actually said she likes to see at least 5-6 lines to confirm a girl and I can easily see 5 on yours. Congrats!
