When I was trying to do the exercise, 60 minutes of stationary bike, I was having to sleep for 4-5 hours in the afternoon because I was so weak at 1500 calories. My husband is an exercise physiologist and has done body composition analysis for me before and just for my body to stay alive, I need 1340 calories a day. And that's if I was completely comatose, only my essential systems (breathing, cardiac function, etc). I'm 5'3", a 20 bmi and less than 21% body fat. I've never watched my weight, just always ate when I was hungry, and I've always been around 120lbs when I wasn't pregnant. To survive on 1000 calories I feel like I'd need to be like 4'0" :(
