Can we get a +opk after O?

Im trying to figure out when did I O'd this month.
I read that normally we O on the day our temp drops.
But I got a +opk next day and a peak window on my CB monitor the day after temp drop when my temp went up.
So when did I O'd most likely? CD 17 or 18? (look at my chart plz)
I really would be happy for CD17 because that means our last try on CD 18 don't count (and we did 2 try on it)but Im not sure. And we had a good try on CD15!
I don't know everything was so crazy this month O was late too I kinda wish for a bfn so I can do a better try next month.

Yes, because sometimes the corpus luteum releases a little bit of the hormone that the OPK picks up on and if circumstances are just right, the OPK can detect this.

I'm not seeing a link to your chart but I'm feeling a little slow right now haha.

My first instinct is CD 17, I think you might be right, O was over by CD 18.

Would you say then that the 2 BD on CD 18 don't count? We wanted to do it on CD 17 but DH got an accident:mad: I was so sad I cried half of the night...
so can I get a boy from the BD on CD 15 ? And we also did CD13 that is 4 dbo then...if that count. Or more likely a girl because there was not much sperm left?:sad:

What do you guys think??

That is what I thought too!

I just hate that we could not have a BD on CD17:sad: we tried but no...

because it was after O so may sway girl?? and because DH had a accident on O night (that's why we could not dtd im so angry) so we did it only 14 hour after that on CD 18 and again the same day at night .So that is 2 half day abstinence .Not ideal for boy at all. I would say sways girl right?
I reeeeeely hope IF I get a bfp then it's from the 2 try before O! there is no way I ever forgive DH if this a girl. Because of his stupid oops!:mad:

flava, if it is a BFP it is almost certainly from the sperm there before O. As soon as those sperm "smell" the egg, they are gone like a shot and it takes sperm minimum 4 hours to capacitate anyway so the earlier sperm had a major head start.

Yes totally I don't think it counts at all! Honestly I think the BD on CD 15 was prob. just right timing, because it allowed the sperm to capacitate and make it to the egg. They were all there waiting!!

Thanks atomic ! Im worried the count was low you know! You always say we need high count for ttc blue and we only had a try 4 days before O and 2 days before and nothing on O day. So Im thinking there is not much left from the 4dpo and maybe more from 2dpo . But would that be enough for a boy sway? And you also say it's good to dtd on O day and we couldn't.
I have 4 girls and failed sways Im just scared!:sad:

I know it's so scary!! Just think of all those Shettles opposites. With everything you were doing to benefit the swimmers, you could prob. have gotten a boy DTD 6 days before O!!

I just really hope so much!
