Can anyone make anything out of this chart? Of course, I haven't tested yet. The last time I was pregnant and miscarried, my temps were this low in the beginning. From what I have learnt recently is you can get a dip 4-5dpo due to a boost of estrogen then the should rise again and you may get an implantation dip between 7-10dpo if you do fall pregnant then your temps should rise again! So far your chart look ok to me! Also 5dpo is to early to get a BFP?

I think your temps look good. When I've been pregnant my temps are lower for the first 6 or so days after O then jump up again around 7dpo and stay up. All my pregnancy charts have been triphasic so maybe yours is on its way there too.

Your temps look fine. Sometimes they are just lower overall after O or take longer to rise significantly. It can be a good sign or just an unusual month. Fx for you, I'm 6dpo so almost O buddies.
It would have to be later on before you'd see the big temp rises that would indicate pregnancy.
What is your chart like today?

I highly doubt it. Never had crazy dips in any of my 5 pregnancy charts. I think AF is coming or I'm coming down with something. I don't believe in implantation dips, there's no evidence for them and it doesn't make sense for implantation to cause a temp drop.

I wanted to explain about "implantation dips" - they don't really exist, what happens is that about that point of your luteal phase (7 DPOish) your body releases a surge in estrogen that maintains uterine lining for another few days. It's not implantation causing it, it's a misnomer. THat having been said, researchers did notice a small increase in number of BFP in months with a big temp dip, but that is probably because the body is working well hormonally and thus more likely to get and stay pregnant in those months, and NOT having anything to do with implantation. Implantation does not cause a temp dip

In addition to what atomic said, you can get secondary estrogen surges (one or more, I often get a few) at any point in the LP. I agree that these can encourage implantation, if there's a healthy zygote.
I have had more ewcm and was thinking that had happened maiden but I didn't want to put it on my chart because it was short lived before turning back to creamy. Just like on my cd17!

I always mark even a tiny patch of fertile CM on my chart. It's useful to look back on and see at a glance, if something similar happens in a future cycle. I make a note of the details, in the notes section, I.e. mostly creamy CM but had a bit of clear EWCM in afternoon when wiping, or whatever. It's fairly common to get a bit of fertile CM later in the LP, and in particular right before AF. Our hormones are always in flux to some extent.

I'm out as I started spotting last night and temp continually dropping. I have an appointment with my ob tomorrow and think I'll asked to have all bloodwork and ultrasound again as it's been a full year since I've had eggs and everything tested. After missed m/c Dec/Jan, nurse said my lining was still a bit too thick and I'm now wondering if this is the cause again. I got pregnant (Oct) for the first time immediately after laprascopy and polyp removal (Sept). I was also going to ask for Clomid. Anything else I can do or ask for?

My surgeon pulled another HCG today and ordered another ultrasound to see if my lining is still thickened just like before my myomectomy and d&c laprascopic surgery. After my miscarriage, the nurse practitioner implied that my lining was still thick and it shouldn't be but we went on to try for 2 months in a row to no avail. Well, that is one I've never heard before (Trisomy 13 and abnormal lining) that seems like one of those things doctors make up on the fly to placate people.
We had one member on here who did end up needing 3 d and c in a row but her HCG did not drop. My question is, do they think there is something going on with your estrogen levels (like are they unusually high or what) that could have contributed to the fibroid growth and also the thick lining??? They can give you some medicine to prevent that overgrowth from happening but I don't like how they're just acting like something was left behind when we do not think that is the case
I agree, that does sound made up to me. I've never heard anything like that abou sense that they would affect your lining.
I wouldn't necessarily assume you were pregnant again with low hcg at your age. Under 5 can be normal.
I wonder if red raspberry leaf would be worth trying? It is supposed to help tone the uterine lining.
Ultrasound scheduled for Friday morning. HCG is -2 now. He wants to wait to do CD3's again until after ultrasound. I remember estrogen was at 59 last year before surgery.Quote:

Raspberry would possibly aggravate that as it improves blood flow to the uterus and also may raise estrogen. I would also not having you use it with Clomid/Femara possibly on the horizon OR with the blood tests.
Dr says lining looks fine and because I'm older could take a couple more months. He doesn't like that I'm spotting before and after periods. If it doesn't take at ovulation next week, then he'll put me on clomid next month when cd1-3 starts. Praying for the best!
