Got a faint bfp. Maybe a chemical?

Hi ladies,

Been super busy, went to court last week so had to do lots to prepare. Was lovely. I LOVE ex husbands!

In the midst of all this insanity, I actually ovulated this month and got a really faint bfp this morning! Ia m 11 dpo, I know with the last one I was like 17 or 18 dpo when I got a light but obvious bfp...both my girls were like that. Last time I had been spotting for 6 days and had started about 11 or 12 dpo, this time the spotting started the morning of 9 dpo. By last night I went to the drug store cause I have been queasy too, and there is was this morning. Its too light to get a decent photo of. I am going to test again on monday and see if its sticky (for the moment at least). I don't feel very confident, I have been on anxiety meds since I lost Missy a few months ago and they lower your egg quality. Ive been taking ubiquinol and royal jelly in larger doses, as well as a growth hormone that improves your eggs but we weren't going to try for 2 more months.

The sheer irony, the more careful I try to be the worse it gets! Last month the condom came right OFF inside me, (LMAO), and this month I told DH to withdrawn and used not one but TWO sheets of my spermacide film, and instead of having extra protection they fell out in one big glob an our after! I wasn't too concerned cause I didn't ovulate the last 2 cycles and didn't really know if I would, but I temped every day and there it was, O 2 days (about 36 hours) after my spermacide fiasco. I told DH we just have to be more careful than that for the next two months (abstinence maybe?!).

I have heard weird stories of this as your fertility is coming to an end, your body's last push to pop out little ones for the last few years before meno. Maybe that's why I'm extra fertile? IDK.

Will update on monday with a solid bfp or a straight bfn. I think I will know by then.

I feel freaked right out. I wasn't sure I wanted to get pregnant at all after last time, tho I did see an OBGYN 2 weeks ago that told me we could go ahead and start trying any time and SHE said she thought everything would be ok next time. I told her I didn't share her optimism, but sometimes you need to borrow faith from someone else for a while to get through.

Either way, will update monday morning. LOL, fertilty friend says my EDD will be valentines day... You can see my chart here:

Aw, Sweetlily, I'm sorry this is earlier than you expected because I'm sure it's causing you stress, but if you still have a line on Monday then I hope it's a sticky bean! There is just something extra special about babies that defy contraceptive efforts. ;) FX for you.

I'm hoping and praying that this is a sticky, healthy bean! I know the timing is less than ideal, but boy, given the circumstances it's pretty amazing!

Extra fertile does not mean your body has the ability to disarm birth control. You don't need to abstain, just avoid a few days around when you think you may be fertile.

I agree that could possibly be a pregnant chart, but keep temping. We have had a spate of false pos pregnancy tests I think some of them have gotten so sensitive they're registering on practically nothing lately. If it's too light to show on pictures I would not count as positive yet.

Yeah-- I was reading the digi leaflet a few minutes ago and it says its so sensitive it can give false positives?!!!!! Its a FRER!!!! I was stunned, who wants THAT sensitive?

There's a definite pink line on the test from yesterday but after all the mcs I've had in the past, I trust nothing until its dark dark dark, and then backed up by doubling betas!:rofl:

but seriously, the FRER digi actually says it can give false + because its SO sensitive now? Thats a bit over board. We've taken testing too far now!

FR are ridiculously sensitive. I haven't used the digital one just the standard one.
I had medical management with pessaries for a missed miscarriage at the beginning of May. 5 weeks later I'm still getting very faint positives on an FR even though my report says that all pregnancy tissue was removed and I've had a period this week, still getting that faint line! It's driving me mad.

Aw, well I'll be rooting for you! Are you sure it's AF? You might want to test again in a few days to be sure. I had 3 days of heavy bleeding with DS3, and Atomic had what she thought was a full period with her DS4.

Keep testing. Do not do or take anything that could harm a potential pregnancy until that test is negative.

I had a full on 5 day "period" when I was pregnant with my 4th. You absolutely can have heavy bleeding during pregnancy that seems like AF but it isn't. This can be a lost twin, placenta previa, SCH, bleeding from the cervix, or a bit of lining sloughing off. Baby can stay stuck despite all this.

IDK about this baby. I don't think it's going to stick. The spotting is worse today (tho it did dry up the other day). I feel much more pregnant (like smells making me sick and being dizzy and short of breath suddenly) but I really feel like it's not promising.

I am going to test again tomorrow and see what happens. I do have a doctor's appointment for an injury today (cause I have been so clumsy lately its actually comical how many bruises I have) so maybe I'll get them to do a urine test? Or maybe she will order a beta. Not sure.

Will post back when I know something more solid, but I REALLY think af is starting, today!

I do have very mixed feelings about it. I feel a bit relieved, very sad, scared and hopeless all at once. Maybe the fear is from wondering if I'll ever get a sticky bean after all the chemicals I had for years then that one sticky bean I lost later.

I'm trying not to obsess or freak out. Actually, it's not been that hard. I feel very flat about the whole thing, aside from not knowing what to do. I think all my mc's have left me this way, I have no faith or hope left. But thank you hun, I appreciate your support.

FX for you Sweetlily that this is your sticky bean. Have you taken any more tests to see if they're darkening?

Lol, Like every day, I keep thinking af is starting. I was going to go in for a beta this morning I its become light bleeding. I feel like my body just isn't accepting this one.
