Definite boy potty shot 12 weeks?

Hi everyone new here. Feeling really down was hoping for girl but tech took this shot at 12 weeks and confirmed definite boy. Am I crazy to still hope for a girl at my 20 week scan? It really looks like a penis😞

Total boy. I'm sorry. Try not to get your hopes up. I know how heartbreaking that can be to have your hopes dashed again in a few weeks. I've been there.

Is the image from 12 weeks? If it is then I don't think potty shots are accurate [emoji848] have you got any side profile pics?

Thanks for your reply babybun... That is what kept my hope up I kept reading that 12 weeks boy and girls look the same in potty shots? Yes I was 12 weeks. None of my profile pics show a nub I think x

Also bub was upside down in profile pics amd had a curved spine in lots of them which I read isn't accurate either lol this is probably the best with straightest spine though...

I didn't think potty shots were accurate as the nub can still rise or go down. You really need to see it from a profile shot to see the angle and even then 12 weeks is too early.

I agree with purple, you can only really have a guess from a side profile. Fingers still crossed for pink!

I would not trust a potty shot at 12 weeks. There's a reason those gender ultrasound places won't let you come in until you're 15 or 16 weeks--it's just not very accurate before that.

Thanks girls my logical mind is saying there is no way that could shrink to a vagina but my heart still is hoping *sigh* x we swayed so hard and my husband refuses to give up hope for his little girl

Potty shots are not accurate at all this early on. It could really go either way still. Hope you get your little girl!!
