your chart doesn't show when you DTD, so I don;t know. My DS was a shettles opposite, concieved in sept. with frequent BDing, so I am going to try abstaining and O+12. But timing is really the smallest part of a sway, and I wouldn't stress about it too much if you're doing a lot of the other things.
as long as you are doing the diet + other sway things such as douching I'd just DTD on OV day so you conceive faster, I don't believe timing is a factor
as for whether you abstain or frequent release - both lower sperm count and will sway pink. Do you OV on a regular cycle day? are you both under 35? if so, abstaining might be more successful for you if he can go 7 days without releasing. Alternatively if you have irregular cycles or ovulate on different days it might be easiest to just release (not DTD) every day and then DTD when you get your pos OPK

We are 35 (just turned). I do OV on a regular cycle day (usually). Except when I had a D&C due to blighted ovum. That really messed up my cycles. Basically, in my previous attempts I DTD 3 times or more at around ovulation.
I also bought rephresh. Is that the same as douching? I am trying to test my CM with ph test strips but I am not getting any information. My CM tends to be more sticky and dry. I think I need to drink more fluids.
What do you feel is the most important part of the sway? I have read soooo much that I am getting very confused.
abstaining could still be a good option for you then!
personally I think RepHresh is a form of douching, but obviously not one you have to do too obsessively
I think diet is most important, followed by some way of lowering sperm count in whichever way(s) you choose: jump+dump, abstaining or frequent release, douching or rephresh, hot baths for DH, antihistamines, etc.

Oh yes, I read every one of those but there is so much information (thanks to your hard work) that I'm having a hard time determining what would be best for us. Given my age (35) and that we DTD for both of my boys every other day to conceive them...I'm just not sure if we should or shouldn't even focus on timing and if we should focus on timing than what would be the best timing. But in-gender seems to focus more on timing than genderdreaming so it's all getting confusing. And then there is the fear of miscarriage. Sometimes I wonder if I may miscarry girls given our family history of zero girls (DH's side of the family).

Yes, In-Gender has a fundamentally different approach than what has evolved here...I know it's confusing. IG has the mindset of throwing everything in and not worrying if people can't get pg (their lives are hellish and consumed with swaying 24-7, they stop ovulating, or their husbands divorce them)...I believe the expression they use is, "I don't care if I go until menopause getting BFNS". But my experience with most people is that they do NOT want to go more than a couple months not getting pg. If you can't get pg, you have no shot at your DG. Some people swayed for years only to conceive opposites and some people went on so long swaying they could no longer conceive. :(
They also don't believe that sways fail because of testosterone going up due to swaying and there is an unfortunate tendency on that site to "blame the victim". So if a person on IG's sway failed, it had to be because they did something "wrong", so the idea that timing or swaying obsession, can actually cause some people's T to go up and inadvertently sway blue, plays no part in their belief system. But that is the first thing I consider in anyone's sway.
I do want to put your mind at ease that there is NO known factor that causes anyone to miscarry baby girls. There is a rare genetic condition that causes people to be more likely to miscarry boys, but not girls - it's just not possible to have a genetic reason to miscarry baby girls because they have two X chromosomes. Thank you, so much, for the information. It really helps explain things. I am definetly going to maintain some balance with swaying because I don't want to lose patience. Looking forward to our journey. And if God provides another baby boy than we will be very happy. I love my boys and we have decided this is our last. My MIL has 3 boys and she said she feels blessed to have great DIL's. And I love my MIL as much as my own Mom. So, either gender would be a blessing.
That is my exact experience as well - my MIL is my best friend and I am also blessed to have a very positive relationship with my adult son as well so I know that it is totally possible to have positive relationships with kids of either gender!! Good luck!
