Feeling depressed about attempt

Had first attempt yesterday & feeling v low about it, mainly due to copious ewcm again, despite antihistamines. I never noticed any when ttc the boys, now it is falling out of me.

After 3 months on the diet, I was so looking forward to bfp & getting back to normal (!) now I'm really hoping nothing worked and I have to continue....

Did anybody get girls with torrential amounts? Of course, I was dry up until pos opk, but that was our one attempt day.

I guess I have a vague hope that everything else has been enough, or that the fact it is falling out doesn't mean that there is more inside, but google has depressed me further with all the moms of both sexes saying that the only thing different was the lack of ewcm when ttc the girls...

Try not to worry or feel down. 3 months on the diet is fantastic and the one attempt. You need EWCM to conceive anyway so if you'd had your attempt without it you probably would have no chance of being pregnant and so no chance of having a girl. The fact you had boys not noticing it suggests it's not the EWCM swaying!! Good luck!

EWCM was just a theory. Personally, I had a fair amount when I got my girl and got at least one of my boys without any at all (testing pH 2-3 times a day and I didn't even know I ovulated, that's how little it was) Iv'e seen tons of CM opposites.

nice thing about EWCM is that it does help you conceive, sometimes with TTC a girl it's actually a problem for people because they don't make enough for the sperm to survive. :)

For what it's worth, my acupuncturist said lots and lots of ewcm can be because of low chi for one of the main organs, I want to say liver? I can't recall now...

I asked because I don't have a lot anymore (but used to, 6m ago).

If you can have any acupuncture it could really help potentially.

Acupuncture for fertility makes me nervous as I worry that it could potentially sway blue.

FWIW, I underwent 3 months of acupuncture when struggling to conceive my DS3. I was swaying for a girl for the first time back then.

Yup, absolutely. I'm a perpetual panty ruiner, haha. I always have tons of watery or EWCM, and definitely had a ton when I got my girl even with all of my undereating/overexercising. I always tried to stay hydrated, so that could have contributed.

Thanks you lot! Feeling better about it and more 'I'm probably not pg anyway' in the cold light of day. I was feeling really low that day - very tired & depressed in the first place after a woman in the supermarket queue said 'where is your daughter?' (they always have to make some stupid comment when I'm out with all the gorgeous boys - and because I was tired, wasn't quick enough with a smart response). That was before I even started googling!

Interesting re the liver. I've honestly never had this much ewcm in my life - but it's only those 1-2 days around ovulation, nothing the rest of the month. Re acupuncture, I had it to try to get my overdue ds3 to come, but it didn't work!

Some of us have a BIG mood dip that day. Totally normal!! You would not beleive the number of people who message me to tell me they're giving up TTC completely, forever that day only to turn around and feel better in a few days. :)

Jeez what nerve!! I would have been like "IDK, where's your broomstick!" (not really I never think of things like that in the moment!)

I second this one...I had 3 months of acupuncture and ended up with DS2. My acupuncture doctor told me after the fact that most of his patients ended up with boys

Fwiw...I conceived both sons with no noticeable ewcm. In fact, I would have trouble recognising it really. My friend conceived a son, then a daughter with 'copius' amounts both times.

Grrrr to that woman in the supermarket. Why is it always in the supermarket? As if you're not stressed enough handling the kids and the checkout! Some very rude people around. Hugs to you and those gorgeous boys x I always wonder what my sons think when they hear these comments being made??
