Would love thoughts on upcoming sway!

Next month is going to be my first attempt TTC a girl. We already have a 16 month old boy whom we got first month of TTC with one try on OV day while I was on top without an O on a super boy friendly diet. I have been reading this site for the past month and making tons of notes. My husband works out of town 3 weeks at a time all summer and fall so while I don’t NEED to get pregnant next month it would be a less stressful summer and I won’t be sad every time he wasn’t home when I OV.

On attempt next month:
I will have been on LE Diet for 6-7 weeks along with skipping breakfast and no snacking, which I did ALL the time before. I’ve been drinking Crystal Lite twice a day and switched from Coke to Diet Coke when I do drink it. I wish I could drink coffee but I just can’t stomach it. Closer to when we try, I will try having an alcoholic drink at night.
I have been taking low dose aspirin every 4 days (was every 3 but saw Atomic said it probably wasn’t necessary but didn’t want to cut it out completely in case). I’ve also dropped the Prenatal Vitamins and am only taking Folic Acid every morning.
I bought Sylk Lube. Looked at Rephresh and Replens but decided to hold off on it for now. I have no idea what my PH is, I checked our hot tub strips and they only go to 6.4 or something and I have also read on here PH doesn’t have much to do with it.
I was going to ask Hubby to either take a bath (he takes 1-2 really hot baths a day so I am sure he won’t have an issue) or go in the hot tub before we BD on CD13.
I don’t work out, I work at desk job and then when I get home I just chase after my little one. I don’t have the energy or time to work out for an hour each night so I will be keeping exercise to a minimum for now.
We will either do missionary or me on top, husband prefers me on top so since he is putting up with my sway I will probably give him that and either finish off missionary or shallow. I will J&D, as I always do.
I have been tracking my temps for the past 3 months and seem to OV on CD15 or 16. I took an OPK this month and it was Positive on both CD12 and 13. I was thinking we will BD e4d. That would put us BD on CD5, CD9, CD13 and CD17. CD13 should be the only one in the Fertility Window. I am going to ask my husband to not release during this time. Does this sound ok?
I’ve also had way less CM this month than usual.

For the fun stuff all old wives tales point to April - November being my girl months, I should ovulate in the new moon as long as it doesn’t happen early this month. I also bought a rose quartz necklace and will be putting everything girlie under the bed! I have lavender EO being diffused. I have also been trying to sleep on my left side. Seriously, I want this girl so bad!! My son is the best thing ever and I know if I get another boy I will be so happy but I only want two children so this is my only chance to try for my girl!

Let me know what you think and if I should be tweaking anything.

Since you need to (or hopefully anyway) get pregnant this month yes I recommend e4d for you.

Everything is looking good, be careful with aspirin + alcohol as both are blood thinners and can really make you bleed/bruise quite badly.

Oh and since baby is only 16 mos - just wanted to be absolutely sure you're not breastfeeding?? If so the aspirin MUST go. Not safe when nursing.

Nope, I stopped BF at 12 months when I had to go back to work :)


Another question regarding LE. I am doing well with the Protein and Fat portions but my Sodium is still high (just trying to keep it lower than before I was on the diet) and my fiber seems awfully low. I see some people are taking Metamucil, is that something I should be looking at? I am averaging only about 9-10g of fiber a day according to my fitness pal.

I have lost almost 10 lbs (from 131lbs to 121lbs) in the 5-6 weeks I have been on the diet, mostly just cutting out breakfast, snacking (sooooo much snacking) and full sugared pop and keeping a eye on my calorie intake more than usual. It's usually sitting around 1400 calories a day.

Most of us totally gave up on sodium and our results only went UP when we did! It makes it way easier to stick to diet to let that one go.

Yes we've had good luck with the fiber, do add that in, with any meal containing fat only. If not eating fat, no need for it

It is probabaly time to up cals now to keep the weight loss from getting out of hand.

Just found out that my husband has to go out of town on CD11 and looks like I might O on CD 14 or 15.. We are going to BD tonight (CD5) then I will hold him off till CD10.. I would try to get him to BD in the morning before I go to work and he leaves on CD11 but he is usually a zombie for the first hour in the morning so I don't think it'll go over very well. I know my chances of getting pregnant are slim with such a long cut off so I am wondering if I should still be asking him to have a hot bath before to kill off some sperm or should I try to get as much in there as possible with such a long cut off. He said there is a chance he will be back for CD14 but his job is so all over the place I won't be holding my breathe..

Since I have been tracking my OV every month it's happen a day sooner than the last so I am hoping maybe I'll O on CD 13 or 14 this month..

I know you may not be able to read this in time but just in case!

We BD on Tuesday and I got a Positive OPK on Wednesday at 2:00 pm. I was going to wait till Saturday night (doing E4Ds) to do it again but my temp still hasn't spiked so I am unsure if I have ovulated yet. Last month my temps show I ovulated 3 days after my positive OPK so if that happens again I won't ovulate till tomorrow.

Hubby is home today so should we BD tonight or wait for tomorrow night to sick with the E4D. I just don't know if the sperm from Tuesday will still be alive if I ovulate on Saturday :nails:

This is one of those gray areas that I honestly don't know what the right answer is. I just don't know and you need to weigh your desire to get pregnant vs. your desire to have the best sway. I don't know if the earlier attempt is too early or if tomorrow will be too late.

if you really can't decide, flip a coin and do what the coin says.
