Hi all, I am very early, actually only 13dpo pregnant ;-) But got a positive a few days ago, feels like ages ago!
I basically exercised lots, avoided as much meat as possible, ate mainly low fat non nutritious stuff, didn't worry about salt. I drink wine every evening, didn't use any supps or gels etc. Did take antihistamines, and was a low body weight. I think we had one attempt 2 days before O too.
I will update as this pregnancy goes on, thanks for all the help atomic and ladies X

Hi chocolate congratulations on your pregnancy. Like you I tried swaying, then went hightech (something I'd rather forget about) now with no money I'm back to swaying. I'm trying to do pcos diet just about managing could you please give me some of your meal ideas & lunches & did you use any white carbs in your diet? I'm worried I'm not strict enough just trying my best. Thanks

I felt quite rubbish if I didn't included carbs so I did have sandwiches and crisps sometimes. But more often than not Id have ryvita for lunch with very thin slices of cheese. Or a wholemeal pitta bread with a little tomato puree and grilled cheese. I had to just find lower fat food that I liked as I am a bit fussy with food. I would just do the best you can, I gave up on worrying about the fact I was eating stuff I probably shouldn't. But drinking alcohol daily and exercising was a big change for me.Quote:

Re low fat food on PCOS diet, anyone reading this who is now confused or thinking they need to eat low fat, you have 50-60 g fat on PCOS-type diet and SHOULD NOT be eating low fat foods as most of them simply replace grams of fat with grams of sugar and are actually worse than full fat foods are.
