2 cancelled cycles, any advice?

I'm pretty sure I know what you're going to say but I have to ask anyway.
I have just had to cancel my 2nd cycle this morning due to no reponse and am pretty sure that means the end of the road for me unless I use donor eggs but I thought I would ask if you had any miracle ideas for me.

My 1st cycle was in June this year with Dr Potter, Microdose flare, 450 gonal-f, 4 amps menopur, BCP prior to cycle, Saizen, DHEA for 10 weeks precycle. Basically no response. After 10 days of stims nothing over 10mm.

2nd cycle- Oct, no BCP, Antagonist, 400 puregon, Saizen, DHEA since May, 9 days of stims- 1 foliie at 14mm, a few others at 2mm.

My FSH has ranged from 13-5.9 over the last 6 months. Was 9 at start of 2nd cycle, but my AMH is at 1.1 so markedly reduced (Aussie meaasurements).

Any ideas at how to get those last few eggs out of me???

Sorry, but can I ask you some more questions to get a clearer picture, answer what you can .

1. How old are you?
2. Do you have your full Day 3 results?
3. Total amount of follicles - do you have the exact numbers they counted?.
3. Menstrual Cycles - regular, length, painful or heavy?

Let's start there and I will work with you and lets see what options there are my fellow Aussie.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, really very much appreciated. My answers are as follows

1) Just turned 39 this month
2) Day 3 as of this month- E- <100, P- 5.2, LH- 8, FSH- 9
3) After 4 days of stims there were 4 on each side, after 7 days there were still 4 on each side- 1 was at 10mm and she thought the others were all about 5mm but did not measure them (E was only 189), today after 9 days the big 1 was at 14mm the rest were at 2mm but I don't know exactly how many of the small ones she could still see (don't even know what E was).
4) regular 28 day cycle, last 5-6 days, very heavy and can be quite painful. Have had endometriosis removed in 2007 by laparoscopy. Periods less painful since but still uncomfortable.

Had dermoids removed from both ovaries in 1999, laparoscopy in 2007 to remove endo and check tubes (left one found to be blocked), another laparoscopy in Sept this year to remove cycst on left ovary and check for endo (none found) and check for hydrosaplinx (left tube found to be NOT blocked!!??).

Did a tracking cycle early this year (March) and found to be ovulating normally, well getting my LH surge anyway. My specialist said all was working as it should be.....I can give you the details of those levels if you want.

Had my first son using IUI, worked first time but I did only release 1 egg (on VERY low dose Gonal), conceived second son on 5th month of trying naturally (used ovulation predictor strips).

Again thanks so much for taking the time to put your mind on this. I'm so sad right now, I could sure use some hope.

I was just heading to bed, but just saw your response, oh you poor darling it feels terrible, I know when I see it with my patients and it has happened to me personally.

If you have the results to your LH levels that would be great.

I need to get bed as feeling exhausted, but I want to say something to you when there is eggs there is hope and you have some!!!!

Also, how soon after having your last bubs did you have the AMH test?

I have a few thoughts on the no response issues/reasons but I want to sleep on it.

Now have some hope, I cannot promise, I wish I could, but I maybe able to help you.

So you E2 was higher naturally than with IVF? Is that from a natural month?

No!!! Wow so glad you asked that. I was scratching my head at that too. Totally forgot...the tracking cycle was my "botched" clomid challenge. I took 50mg once per day for days 2-6.

But i did have my day 3 bloods done again in Aug which was a natural cycle and my E2 was higher then than during this cancelled IVF cycle. Results were
E2 - 111
LH - 3.9
FSH - 5.9
Prog - 2.4

Also forgot to mention that I did E-priming for this cancelled cycle too. I took 4mg daily of Progynova from day 20 of my previous menstrual cycle. I don't understand why my Oestrogen was so low and just didn't rise.

So on a low dose of clomid these were your e2 results? And you didn't get past the 100's with the high dose meds? I don't know how to explain that- that is what the docs on here are for! Insterested to see their response!!

Makes no sense does it...Perhaps my body is as stubborn as my mind and won't be told!!

I think I should list all my results from this last cycle, it looks much easier to follow like that.

I am just having a look at you results very closely as there is some interesting patterns that I want to have a closer look at.

Also, Saizen is something I want to consider as in discussion with some colleagues yesterday over a BBQ (I know boring) lol.. They had some interesting comments about it! You went to Great Doctors, so please do not think for a minute that I am knocking any of them at all :) But, everyone has different opinions and Saizen was one of them.

Do you want to do another IVF cycle or try naturally? The reason I ask is that I can think more about how to help you.

Please try not to despair and yes, Donor Eggs are an option and in the end may be the option but pleeeeeeeeaassssssssssseeeeeee think of them as your last ditch plan as this will comfort you in some ways as you know there is an option, but I think no promises of course that you may have some other course of action and hold on to that positive thought.

Thanks Dr H, I have been lurking around waiting to hear back from you.

I don't really know what we will be doing but at present I am looking into Microsort and IUI as I thought it was the only option available to me to have my biological daughter.

I didn't think there was any point in doing another IVF cycle as I just don't respond but if you think there is something different I can try please say so.

What were the opinions on Saizen? I have taken it for both cycles at HUGE expense but it doesn't seem to have done anything at all.
