19 weeks! Skull guesses? Pretty certain on gender!

Had my 19 week appt today :) told the tech we were team green! She did great with using them and their pronouns! We closed our eyes during waist down pics and measurements. But then she let us see baby's back and spine. Babe was turned slight away from the camera but she went down the back and baby wiggled and out popped a clear as day loud and proud nub!

I'm no technician, but I've studied a lot of nubs over the two years we've been ttc and the last few months since discovering we were preggo! I def knew it wasn't a cord, cuz the cord was also visible, and I know it wasn't a leg, cuz the shape was text book nub shape for 19 weeks gestation. She paused there to get a lower spine measurement and then kept going but was quiet and quick about it! I think she new ;)

ANYWAYS.. needless to say she did not give us that snapshot in our little envelope of pics haha:) so all I have for now till birth is skulls!

What do you think?!

This is NOT my ultrasound.. found it on google. But this is nearly identical to what popped up on the screen as she was trying to show us the spine [emoji23] I drew in though what our baby looked like. With the leg very prominent and the cord visible all the way around and the spine- cuz baby was turned just slightly more away from the wand.

Now I'm certainly no tech nor am I a doctor.. but it's a little hard to mistake! LOL. We'll see if hats really what it was or not! I have another US at 28-32 weeks to check my low lying placenta :) maybe I catch a glimpse then [emoji51]

If that is what you saw, then this *could* be your boy. Will your DH go with you to your next scan? If not, you can always have the tech write down the gender in an envelope that you and your DH open together later (or you can sneak a peak!). Just a thought!

Dunno yet if he will make the next US!! I've thought about just finding out now.. cuz it wasn't like she panned over the nub. She legit paused the screen to type a measurement so it stayed up for a solid 4-5 seconds! Lol.

Idk I'm like 90% sure bub is a boy. But that 10% worries me into not wanting to find out still!

I can totally understand how you feel Nann! I would be the exact same way if I was the one that had GD. Since my DH was the one that really had a gender preference, I wanted to find out for him! Plus, I'm such a Type-A planner type- I had to know to prepare early, haha!

Oh I def get that! A ton of my daughters clothes are boys anyways. And I'm such a procrastinator that I won't be decorating and painting the nursery till after baby arrives anyways lol! Since he/she will stay in my room for the first 3 months probably!

My hubby wanted to know. But he's been supportive thus far! Maybe I'll ask him tonight if he wants to find out now :)
