I just got another BFN, so I am going to change my sway next month. I am planning to use Rephresh every three days leading up to O and then either Aci-Jel or Sylk as a lube for BD. I am leaning towards Aci-jel since that was formulated specifically for TTC girl (and b/c I already own it!), but would love your opinion on what you think is better since that is basically all I am doing for my sway (in addition to diet of course)

Hi, I'm obviously not Atomic but I do think it's a good idea not to use all 3 of those things and FWIW I got my BFP using RepHresh (last application 48 hrs before attempt) and Aci-jel (1/4 applicator around 7 hours before attempt). Are you using any gels after you DTD?

I think you're right not to use anything afterwards. So have you been using Aci-jel and Sylk already?
I used Aci-jel every morning, vinegar douche before DTD, and Rephresh every three days. I have never used Sylk but I think a lube might help, so wondering if I should add Sylk to my sway or if I should do the Aci-jel right before DTD (as a lube) instead of in the morning...
I think it would be hard to get pregnant using Acijel as a lube. I'd use it maybe 6 hours before BD and then Sylk as a lube.
If you have the Acijel already, I would just stick with that. In the final analysis, the jellies are not that diff. from each other (except RepHresh) they all do about the same thing in about the same way, and it's pretty unlikely that one is a magic pink bullet and the others aren't and that anyone's sway hung in the diff between Sylk and Acijel.
That having been said, I do think that Sylk is a better lube than Acijel, so if you're really in need of a lube, Sylk might be nicer in that regard.
Out of curiosity, do you think Acijel makes a good lube?? I was underwhelmed by Replens as a lube.Quote:

I actually found Aci-jel made everything down there very wet - you just need to make sure you use it far enough in advance (a finger tip an hour beforehand or longer if you want to use more).

Hello Atomic, can u help and tell me if is good to use Aci jel in the morning, finger tip 1hour before BD and after BD again finger tip? I plan 10-11 days abstain, just one attempt with 4 days cut off. I plan to take Zyrtec 6 hours before attempt and take it every day till O. Thanks for advice
I don't think anyone really knows how best to use it.
I don't like you guys using anything after BD. All it does is cut odds of conception.
I generally have people use a bit 1 hour before BD and/or as a lube for BD (just a little)
