Who wears the pants in the family?

Another thread got me thinking and i am curious if anyone tends to me more in charge or your dh more in charge? My dh is very T driven but when it comes to our marriage and household im more the queen bee and he will ask me what i want to do or say "its up to you" I am not the dinner on the table and here is the tv remote kind of girl at all,he comes home and then between the 2 of us things get done....kids,homework,dinner,diapers ect. While my sis in law always quiet,has dinner waiting,never aurgues back when my bro is being a jerk lol and she has 3 girls1 boy.This thread is in no way meant to cause any bad feelings and you do not have to respond im just curious about home life and what children you have concieved.My mother by the way lived under my dads abusive thumb and she had 2g3b so just interested to see.

I sound like you. I'm a real type A personality though. Do not handle stress well.

DH is a lot quieter than I. I am bossy but he's not afraid to put me in my place. I think we balance out each other.

Same here I guess we do all the thing together to be done. Sometimes I have dinner waiting sometimes he come home and make dinner ect. He pay the bills and stuff like that just because someone have to do it and I hate it lol but Im pretty much in charge mostly what I say goes.But also we never really fight. And have only girls.

I wear the pants in my family....NOW! Interesting thing is that when I was with my mean ex, he was very oppressive to me (and I am a natural type A) and we had 2 girls....and now his wife is also having a girl....but with my DH now, I am the boss (hehehe), so I am hoping that it turns my stars to blue if we ever can manage to get knocked up. We really do everything together, but I am the main breadwinner and in charge of bills and really, most stuff. He is kinda more the teamwork kinda guy, thankfully.

My hubby will put me in my place when its needed also lol

Well I make most of the decisions and am quite bossy LOL so probably me, although he won't hold his tongue if he feels he needs to "speak up" and take charge ;)

My hubby pays all the bills also,i use to do it but hated it being on me so he took over thank the heavens! I too do not handle stress well,it really pisses me off.Lola i wish you the best and hope your son will be on his way soon!

Thanks, QOH! Likewise, I hope you get a pink caboose someday. Paying the bills IS stressful, but better me than him. Artists are not so good with things involving money and well, responsibility in general!

I would say I would be in charge more...My hubby is so laid back and I am more controlling and the fork dropping on the floor can stress me out:hair:....We just work that way, maybe that is why I have three boys.

Husband def. more in charge and he can be very bossy and domineering, but at the same time we are both pretty testosterone-y so I think that my natural personality is undeterred by him. I pretty much ignore him and do what I want. :)
