The way the oils work is bizarre but it appears that when you are getting equal or greater % of your total fat intake from animal fats, then the veg. oils are all good. But if you are getting more of your total fat intake from JUST veg oils then that may end up swaying pink even if you're eating a lot of them. So if you're careful to be getting more animal fats then yes the olive/avocado oil would only help, but if the avocado and other veg. oils are adding up to be more than the animal fats, you may not want to go that route.
(sorry, I know it's terribly confusing and I wish it didn't work that way but enough studies have indicated that it makes a difference that I feel like we have to take it into consideration)
