Robin - yay!!!!!! When will you start testing? So excited for you! How many attempts did you end up getting in?
I've been testing out trigger since 1 dat after I took it. It's not out of my system as of this morning but it's ALWAYS out by Tomorow 8dpt. We shall see [emoji1]Quote:

Sadly not me! Still going through these fertility checks my doctor is ordered. I saw my doc today (for my annual appt) and he said I probably need either Clomid OR progesterone supplements to help my short LP, and he's leaning towards progesterone at this point. Hoping I can nudge him towards Clomid instead & get it for my next cycle which should start in less than 2 weeks from now. Really ready to start trying again - it's been over 5 weeks now since my m/c.
Robin so excited for you!!! Fx cant wait til u start testing. I should O in the next day or 2. I don't think it'll happen this month tho, more hopeful for next month.
ABC I know it's crap having to wait but if you want the Clomid can you not day the progesterone just didn't work? Or would the Dr make you try it for a few months?? Maybe just say you'd would be happier trying Clomid, see what he says. Can't hurt.

Can you check my chart out again? What is UP with my temps? It went up slightly this morning but I don't think enough to confirm O. I got a +opk on Friday so I really should have o-ed by now!
When I had follicle u/s on Friday (day I got +opk), my follicle was 17mm. I read it usually is 18-24 before you ovulate so does that make sense that it's still taking awhile to see shift?

ABC - If he mentioned Clomid maybe he will be open to prescribing it now with the right amount of nudging. I'd definitely push for it. Hoping you get it all figured out soon. I have a short LP too and am taking progesterone after O. My doctor mentioned that after a few more months of trying he would be open to giving me Clomid but DH doesn't really want me to take it just for the sake of swaying so I'm honoring his wishes (for now).
BBB - you never know, this may be your month! Are you BD everyday or EOD?
So I'm 10 dpo today and I thought for sure my test was negative but then after some obsessive squinting, I felt like I could see a shadow of a line. I feel like I might be driving myself nuts though and it's nothing. Or maybe it's an evap, I did take the test after maybe like 7 minutes, so only a tiny bit out of the normal testing window. We'll see what tomorrow's test shows!

Abc yep there's no indication temp wise as yet that o has happened. Were you still doing opks? I ask because multiple days of pos opks is another pcos tendency so I'm wondering whether your opks are pos for just the one or two days or longer? I'd be sure to let him know that cd17 is not going to be accurate as progesterone peaks 7-9 days after ovulation so prior to that you are going to have a lower reading by default. I'd be asking as well as cd17 if he wants you to go in 7 days after temp spike indicating o has occured for another reading.

Pbn3 - I took one on Sunday that I think was negative... Haven't done any since then though, I probably should have continued testing. In the pregnancy that I miscarried recently I was using the digital dual hormone OPKs and had like 4/5 days of "high fertility" before I got the "peak" fertility - would that count as maybe indicating PCO tendency as well? Before that cycle when I was using the cheapie OPKs, I had a hard time getting one clearly positive OPK at all. The line was never as dark as the control line and I mostly only got negatives.
Honestly - I think I'm at the point where I'm ready to push hard for Clomid. My cycles are consistently 24 days w/O bet CD13-15. It just seems like I should ovulate earlier and that I should have that bit of a "push" my body needs to do so rather than messing w/ my total cycle length & LP w/ progesterone. And Atomic just is not convinced that the progesterone will do anything anyways.

Abc 4/5 days of high reading (flashing smiley) before peak is quite normal. Mine ranged between 2 - 5 days when I used them. Do you have any opks handy? Can you take one for curiosity sake? I'm worried by going in cd17 for your bw that you will of course get a low reading because you didnt o cd11 but surely he will take this into account????

Hello everyone! I was here in July with an unsuccessful cycle and hubby decided that we should not try for another baby. We both really do want a number 4 but are trying to be realistic about how expensive kids are! And as it stands by the time we are 44 our youngest will be 18, so do we really want to extend that. Welcome back Momto3Girls! I think you should keep BDing! Maybe continue EOD (or is everyday recommended for blue? I know we got our boys with several days of consecutive BD).
BBB - Why aren't you able to get any more opks? Maybe keep BDing EOD?
And I think I have the first October BFP!! Eeeeek. 11 DPO today and that squinter that I posted yesterday that I wasn't sure about was definitely a positive. I know that line from today's test below looks grayish in the photo but it was definitely pink and taken within 5 minutes. Praying my sway was good enough, I know I didn't do enough for the diet or do it long enough... I am shocked I got pregnant on our first month TTC, it took almost 6 months with each of my boys and our one attempt was 2 days before O day.

I finally ovulated yesterday it looks like - full 1 degree (Fahrenheit) rise this morning. Only about 3 weeks out now from our finally being ready to attempt again!! Need to get that Clomid first though! :)

BBB just continue with eod, it sways blue as well. Unless you're really hoping for multiple attempts at pos opk? If so then you'll have to purchase some opks from your local pharmacy or supermarket today especially seeing as you are on cd14 and right around the time when you oed last cycle..... how did the opk look? Was it close to pos? If it was a ways off then you might be right waiting till your IC's arrive hopefully tomorrow!

As for me I am apparently still waiting to surge... Still not positive today, looks just like it did yesterday. Hubby is having performance issues, umm sorry tmi but he says it's too slippery lol
I wonder if I missed the surge some how? Or maybe my body started to surge and then didn't? I have been check cf and cp and it seemed the most fertile at cd 14. Today is day 16. I've never felt my cervix so high for so long. I am not surprised that my o has not happened yet but I'm surprised that I had so many fertile signs so early. Crazy body, figure it out...

Momto3girls does that mean hubby couldn't release? I'd give it another go tonight if that's the case and maybe try something to slightly dry up cm like an antihistamine several hours before you plan on bding [emoji848] I know this used to be an old ink sway tactic but it hasn't been proven to help sway so I think Atomic has dropped it now. You don't want to completely dry up cm, just a bit so dh can see things through so maybe even try half a tablet and see how that goes? It is cm that causing the slipperyness and not preseed right? Try not and stress about your surge, it'll come and just think of it as an extra chance for another go at multiple attempts!!

Momto3girls - I don't know what kind of OPK that is you are using but when I used the IC OPKs I never got a line as dark as the control line - it seems like from others I've seen on here that's fairly common, not sure why though. I've switched to Clear Blue digital now - no guesswork.
Pbn - Left him a message late today but he didn't call back so he'll probably call tomorrow morning. Since it seems pretty clear that I ovulated yesterday it's pointless to go in on Friday for test, right? That would only be 3dpo.Quote:
