Hi I’ve read the essay about timing. But have questions about timing. When we are going to ttc DH is going to be 42/43 years old. He is very very fit. He never drink alcohol or smoke or ate pork in his life. With ds1 & ds2 we conceived immediately. I’m thinking about abstaining (7 days) is that a good idea?
It's not recommended for men over 35 to abstain. Thread about it here
Atomic also updated the essay on number of attempts (5th post down) in which she states she's found that abstain and FR are not getting good results for pink, just the one attempt.

Ok,thanks ! I’ve also read that for a girl I must use the last batch& have protected bd. I’m worrying I’ll sway boy because my husband don’t want to to protected and don’t want to help himself and always wants to come inside me ��. Can I still sway girl with every 4 days UNprotected BD?
Every 4 day method is meant to be unprotected :)

to be clear, for a girl BD every 4 days from start of period? since this is day 1 cycle does that mean BD Day 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 30 etc.....?
and to BD also when positive Ovulation test?
Does this lower sperm count and lower chance conception? I really wanna sway pink however i also really want to conceive straight away ... Thank you

to be totally clear, this means you should have no sex at all from day 1 / start of period / cycle until Ovulation day?
But doesnt this conflict with the BD every 4 days to get a girl?
Every 4 days is not the first method to use. I like you guys to start off doing one attempt and then move on to e4d if you can't seem to get pregnant with one attempt. It's (e4d) also better for people who need to get pregnant quickly or have really unpredictable cycles and can't get OPK to work.
I do not and never will have you guys go on and on not getting pregnant while sticking to sway tactics that cut odds of conception. That's not what this site is about. We change things to improve odds of conception over time.
im really lousy with termonology so what your saying is every 4 days (e4d)? is what you would recomend if just want to get pregnant?

at the end of the day is it really 50:50 even if you do everything perfectly?
and when you say every 4 days you mean for example period is day 1 of cycle you try day 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28 bla bla and try again also on ovulation day?

No one knows how much any of things really sway and they probably vary by individual anyway.
No, it's not 50-50 since we are getting about 66% (2/3) girls with this stuff. This indicates we are doing something beyond 50-50 here.

All pink sway tactics lower chances of conception somewhat. That's how it seems to work, unfortunately. But yes, you can still get pregnant doing things like e4d and one attempt, we do it on this site every day. I got my daughter doing e4d.

I’m a new member but I’ve bewn reading this thread through two pregnancies. I have four boys, I am desperately trying for a girl. I did try to gender sway with my last son, but not super strict. I’m having a really hard time understanding a lot of what I’m reading, because I do not know a lot of the code words and can’t find where they are posted as the meanings. Here’s my situation-I need help and FAST!
Me and my husband don’t have sex very often because just have a lot going on- we want to but we just don’t have time haha. And when I say we don’t, I mean like once a month, also because I have a low sex drive (possible low progesterone?)
My husband is 100% on board with gender swaying.
He has been taking magnesium calcium, licorice root, vitamin 12, yams, cranberry
I’ve been taking vitex, cranberry, prenatal, folic acid, vitamin c, yams

I’ve been tracking ovulation, and I am projected to ovulate in 4 days- been tracking for 3 months.
Periods are regular.

to sway girl, preferably this cycle... which method should we do in terms of BD and timing because of our sex pattern? We are willing to do whatever for our princess, but I don’t know if he should release, them we try 3-6 hours later, or if we should wait another cycle.
Can us abstaining this long cause his sperm to kill off all x sperm? Because I feel like that’s why we have 4 boys! We were going to try tonight, and now I’m so confused.
