What counts as one attempt??? Atomic??

My husband and I were intimate without protection on November 29th. I got a positive OPK 8-9 days later on December 8th, and we also BD on that night. Those were the only times. Im just confused about what counts as one attempt. I got my first BFP on the 17th, 9 days post positive OPK. My question is...did the unprotected sex on November 29th mess up my "one attempt"? I wasnt sure if it throws off the ph, or what exactly causes one attempt to sway. Its basically the only thing we did to sway, except for lots of coffee, so im a little worried we messed it up!

What you had is one attempt. The BD in Nov doesn't count because it's too far from ovulation to be viable. You did exactly what's recommended for pink, BDing once at pos OPK. Congrats!

No that November attempt is way way way too far out. That is one attempt

I'm sorry for jumping in, but I believe I might have ruined my blue sway. My DH and I have been doing the pullout as well but recently over the weekend my DH didn't pull out on dec 31. We have been waiting until I ovulated which is in a few days. I have been taking vitams( woman 1a day, 2000mg FOliC acid, fish oil) I eat a banana with cereal or breakfast everyday and I dont miss my breakfast. I have been eating high protein food, salty foods and pastas like spaghetti I try to snack as much as I can especially carrots

If you aren't ovulating for a few days still you very likely will not even conceive.

So if you do want to try for the upcoming month, I'd start having sex every other day or so (either protected if you want timing, unprotected if you don't) now and then once you get positive OPK or are O-1, have an attempt the night of positive OPK (O-1) again the next morning (O Day) and then again the following night. Then after that I'd continue on with unprotected every other day intercourse for a few days till you're sure you've ovualted.

OK.hoping for the best blue dust.I have decided to pick up an ovulation test just to be accurate and my DH and I have sick so I have been giving him some robitussen and I had 10ml yesterday and today. Im supposed to be ovulating tomorrow or thursday.
