I dont start off back on my diet strictly until next week? I just realized I have 14 weeks until we start to try again.
Ive been on the diet since end of August and off it for about a month (while pregnant and a little after my miscarriage) Last week was a total bust for me also, even though I told myself I was gonna get back on track. I just feel so tired of the diet and tracking everything (I’m being a baby about it lol)
It's fine! Start whenever you feel ready. You'd still have 12+ weeks on diet plus all the time you spent on it before conceiving.
What about the diet are you tired of? Maybe there's something I can help you with.

Right but remember, we were having you do PCOS-type diet as a preemptive strike, just in case, and we don't even know that you need to do it. You don't have to do it as "perfectly" as someone without full blown PCO does.
You can still have pizza BTW - whole grain crust, girl! There's also things like zucchini (courgette) and cauliflower crusts, although I've never tried them. For pasta, u can use spaghetti squash, half-pasta mixed with half-cauliflower, or miracle noodles (konjac) instead. Or whole grain pasta, although I'd rather have bamboo stuck under my fingernails than eat whole grain pasta that stuff is rank LOL.
If you're hungry on your LE Diet, eat more. There is no law that says you have to be starving and miserable on LE Diet. It's meant to be pretty easy to stick with!!!
I really think I just deprived myself tooo much, I wasn’t eating enough before, 1000-1200 calories more often then not, it was definitely my own fault for doing that. I thought I’d get pregnant right away and then just start eating “normally” while I was pregnant. But things didn’t go how I thought so I’m just going to eat how I should have been eating all along. I should have been eating the way the PCOS diet said to and not under eating! Lol
I love all of the things you listed too, I need to meal prep, I think that would make things much easier, my son is a super picky eater and so is my husband, by the time I’m done preparing their food I’ve just been saying the hell with it and eating what they have, which is not PCOS diet friendly!
I don’t know if it was hormones or what but I’ve had no self control what so ever this last month, I’ve just been eating what I wanted and not even looking back! I definitely feel better and determined to get back on the diet, but the right way so I don’t totally crash and burn! Especially if I can’t get pregnant right away and end up needing to be on the diet longer than I “think” I will be.
I actually also found a frozen pre made cauliflower crust pizza this weekend! I’m going to give it a shot since pizza and pasta are my total weaknesses! (And it’s super quick and easy)
I’m just hoping I didn’t undo all the progress I made in the 4 months on the diet in the 1 month I’ve been off
No that's not how these sway diets work! Just regroup when you can and get back on the horse.
Thank you atomic, I’m back on track today. I upped my calories for 1500 for the day and already feel so much better.
I’m having baby fever and am hoping to have a chat with my husband about trying a little earlier then we planned, since I’ve only been off the diet for a little over a month (if him and I are on the same page of trying earlier) would you say it would be ok or think it’d be ok to start trying in April/early May rather then early June? Or should I just wait on go the full 12 weeks back on the diet?

So good to know! I’m a little anxious because I’m still off the diet, I don’t know what’s wrong with me, I’m always so hungry, is this normal at this time or should o be concerned? Lol I’ve been off diet for close to 2 months, so I’m wondering if I should start or wait.
It’s crazy because even though I’m worried about being off my diet it’s like I have no will power to get back on, I don’t know if it could be medical (I have family members telling me it could be diabetes) or just that I have no will power anymore. I don’t know what I should do, I want to start trying in April, but then I worry I’ve been eating too “boy” and end up ruining my sway :(
I think it is because you are putting so much pressure on yourself to do the diet right that it feels overwhelming.
Make SMALL changes today. ANY change you make in a pink friendly direction can still make a difference. So as you go, day by day, do the things that feel doable and then don't worry about the rest. So one day if you need a hamburger, have a hamburger, but still try to avoid snacking. A different day, if you need a snack, have a snack, and maybe you don't need the hamburger that day.
So many sway diets are "if you mess up ONE thing in 12 weeks that's it, game over, you have to start again" but that makes NO sense and is not even true so you have to snap yourself out of that mindset since that is how people fail on diets (not only LE Diet but all diets). If you feel like if you mess up one little thing then you've screwed up totally, well, you may as well eat everything in the house once you messed up one time. It doesn't work for any diet and it's how people get locked into bingeing and purging/starving themselves - because they feel too deprived, it messes with their heads, and they view their diet as a pass/fail where every time they eat even just a bit of stuff they didn't intend to, everything is ruined and then they may as well eat a bucket of fried chicken and a birthday cake too. Nothing is ever ruined, just do the doable every day and you will still be swaying pink. :)
I’m definitely putting so much pressure on myself to do the diet “right”. What’s hard for me is that I have OCD, so I felt like before my loss for the most part I was happy with my sway, there were times I didn’t do perfectly and those times bothered me but I got over it. I was only eating 1100-1200 calories. I definitely feel like that wasn’t enough and I totally deprived myself. Now that I am (most likely) eating the right amount of calories it feels wrong. I definitely didn’t stay within limits for quite some time.
I’m trying to do what is doable and make some changes as I go, so far so good. Had some slip ups but it is what it is. I’m definitely the type of person that when I mess up a little I just say eff it and eat whatever, rather then moving on and doing better throughout the day. I always fail miserably on diets (hence my fluctuating weight)
In definitely going to make some changes and try to get back on track without depriving myself this time around!

You are on the right track here! You are MUCH closer to the right track than when you were eating 1000 cals a day! I promise!
You’re definitely right! I always feel like I’m doing something wrong somehow and put way too much pressure on doing the sway “right”.
I’ve been meaning to ask you, my husband and I are in the fence (mostly me), we want to try in May instead of June because we are both so impatient and just want to get the ball rolling, from my miscarriage and up until this week my diet and excersizing has been right on track with a boy sway (so that’s 2 months) would 8 weeks back on a girl sway be enough? I know I have the time from before our loss, but I still wanted your input. If the 8 weeks are not enough we could just wait until June to have the 12 weeks of swaying
If you will recall, I wanted you to try sooner anyway. :) I want you to try sooner if that is in your heart to do so.
Yes, I do remember that. I think we are going to go with May, that way we will still have a due date after December! :) I’m hoping the 8 weeks back on will be enough!
