Don't get the One a Day Prenatals. I suggest just the straight up Women's One a Day, the orange ones. They have all the same nutrients and better than prenatals do. I took them as prenatals with my last three pregnancies and still take them and swear by them personally in addition to having everyone else taking them too. (PS One a Day, I'm availabel for endorsements, LOL)
So then I'd have u add on a DHA TO that Women's One a Day but if you prefer the prenatals with the DHA, then yes, you're right, just take those without any added DHA supp.
The important thing is that you're eating more protein than you WERE. So if you can't get up past 90 g protein or even 70 g that's ok, if you're going from eating 40 g protein to 70 that's still a huge improvement. You dont' need to get all those calories from meat, though. Meat is a hard way to get calories. Adding in some healthy fat (yep coco oil is fine! but butter is good too) and more fruit/veg are good ways to do that.
I would prefer you guys use the protein powders minimally on the off day now and then. Real food is best and there is no need to use any protein powder 3x a day, that is complete overkill.
