Thanks for starting a new thread, Z! I like that we're in a new month now - a fresh start after an awful Fall. :luck:
I am jumping back on the TTC train as well :)....I stopped the pill and now I am just waiting for my first AF and I will start...I am doing a loose sway as I only have 1 tube now and it has adhesions, so I am not expecting to happen quickly...Mocha we can put the fall in the past together!!! Goodluck!

Well, my temp is still up today. One more day at this level and I'll be getting my crosshairs for Thursday. My cm is now creamy too, so I don't feel like O is imminent anymore.
I don't think I really O'd because I never did get that +OPK and I was taking them religiously, but I think just to be safe I'm going to stop taking Vitex and wait until af arrives to start taking it again.

Mocha, hoping you did O and that it's your little girl just beginning. Good for you for stopping the Vitex...if you're not preg, it won't hurt to stop it for awhile, especially if you did O.
AF ended but then the next day I had EWCM (yesterday) & now today, nothing. I used 1/2 a tube of RepHresh yesterday and another 1/2 today. We've not started to BD yet...maybe tonight... :nails: DH has been taking care of himself (I hope!). I may switch to 1/3 of a tube of RepHresh every a.m. while we DTD every night. It makes it tricky to gauge how much goes in there but I can't find the large single tubes of RepHresh so I don't think they exist where I live. Checking CM when using it will also be tricky...it'll be hard to tell what type of CM is in there and I don't want to "disturb" it in there...

I'm planning to keep taking OPKs just in case, but I definitely don't feel fertile now, so I don't think it's coming anytime soon. My cervix is still open, but not nearly as soft and high as before, and my cm is definitely creamy (but abundant). I'm a little worried about the Vitex I've taken the past couple of days if I actually AM pregnant, but hopefully it'll be ok - I know lots of women keep taking it while pregnant. I'm also wondering if I should start taking my prenatal like I'd mentioned in that other thread...but I just don't even know if I'm in the 2WW or not.
I've heard that for most women with regular cycles and natural, uncomplicated m/c, af can come back as early as 4 weeks. I'll be 3 weeks from my m/c on Monday, which means just a week and a few days until I can (hopefully) start to expect O. If it doesn't come that week, I guess I'll take an HPT...but I just don't feel like I caught this eggie even if I actually DID O this week :(.
Mocha, the Vitex is a tricky thing, isn't it! I don't know if quitting it all right away is the best or if you should taper it off slowly...I would PM Atomic for some advice.
I'm so sorry you're feeling like you didn't catch her this time...You never know, especially since you're supposed to be super-fertile now!
Now that it's time to TTC, I'm freaked out and second-guessing things even though I don't know what I'd do differently. I just want to be preg w/a healthy bean and today, my heart is aching for her to come soon. I know you and ladybug feel the same way so I'm sending you both :HH: and good thoughts today!
I know exactly how you feel, Jen. I just don't feel like I'll feel complete again until I'm pregnant - and the sooner the better. TTC is stressful enough under normal circumstances, but after a m/c when your body isn't predictable it's excruciating!
Mocha and Jen-Sorry you're having tough times, Hugs. I hope it ends soon for you both!

i just realized i totally screwed up and had dh taking the licorice root, didn't realize he wasn't suppose to take it until af started. plus i guess with me starting clomid he shouldn't really be taking it anyways. i am also continuing to drop weight maybe too much? was down to 95.4 this morning, haven't had a period yet so not sure if i should eat maybe a few more empty calories and then drop them again once i end af? it's so confusing!
I have no idea!! I *think* af is going to give me crosshairs if tomorrow's temp is high, but I don't know if that means anything if I never got an OPK. I also don't know if all that spotting I had in with the EWCM means it wasn't O. I'm going to assume I'm in the 2WW until proven otherwise. I've stopped Vitex, peppermint tea, and RRL tea at atomic's suggestion, but I'm going to continue to take OPKs in case O still decides to come before af. If I don't have af or O by December 12th (4 weeks after O), I'll take an HPT.Quote:

Oh, and as for your questions - we never took licorice root, so I can't help you there. As for the weight/eating issue - I'd definitely eat some more calories since you're so skinny you can't afford to lose anymore! When I was trying to maintain my weight last summer after dropping too much too fast, I made sure I ate 1800 calories per day - I found that was the perfect amount for me to stop losing weight but also not gain weight.

That weird red bleeding I had that began late at night on the 30th and ended on the morning of the 1st? Apparently that could have been ovulation bleeding - a sign of a particularly strong ovulation, according to several sites I found online. The other, brown blood that was in my EWCM leading up to that was probably leftover blood from my m/c. I've also found out that you can ovulate as long as your HCG is under 25, and I know mine was 13 as of Nov 28th. Now as to whether you can get pregnant if your HCG isn't under 5...I have no clue. Anyone?
Anyway, If I really did O when I think, then I really only got one attempt in, about 24-36 hours before O. The second attempt was probably past O+12, so I don't think I'd have any chance with that one. I'm not feeling great about the attempt. The timing was ok, I guess - though I would have preferred that we'd dtd again on 30th. Also, I used Sylk AND jump and dump after having dh release about 3 hours before our attempt. Too much? I used rephresh on Nov 28th, then again on the morning of the 1st - I'm hoping this second time was AFTER I O'd as otherwise I would worry I killed all the sperm.
I think I'm going to assume I'm in the 2WW, but I'm not going to hold out a lot of hope for that BFP :(.

auroura-i already stopped getting my period and ovulating, i will be starting clomid for the first time once i get my period. i did eat a bit more yesterday and today though b/c i want this medicine to get my period to work! thanks for the advice though!
I use the website fertilityfriend.com to chart, and it will automatically pinpoint your O day for you after you have 3 elevated temperatures in a row (in combination with other fertility signs). When the your O date is determined, 'crosshairs' appear on your chart showing one line indicating your O day, and another line showing your coverline temperature. I don't have my crosshairs yet, but here's my chart. I think it likely the crosshairs will appear tomorrow (so possibly by the time you read this post):Quote:

Mocha- that sounds spookily similar to my attempt!! Really hope you get the same result as I did! I think you can def get pg if hcg still in system, would have thought it would just help new pg along. Also you had such a low level on 28th by time sperm met egg it would be at least half that amout or even less.

Actually i just realized December is a really GOOD month to ttc as well be so busy getting ready for xmas that it will fly by so if we dont conceive then it will go fast to the next month of trying but if we do then that tooo!
Thanks, Indigo - you make me feel better :HH:. I've just been googling whether you can get pregnant with HCG in your system and keep finding conflicting answers. I did another HPT today - not a FRER but a store brand early result one that's supposed to be almost as sensitive as a FRER. It's so ambiguous I probably wouldn't consider it a BFP if I was testing for pregnancy, but there's definitely SOMETHING there that looks like an evap with no actual colour - just a shadow. As I said, I had an HCG of 13 last Monday, and I've heard that anything 5 or below is considered negative. I think a FRER is supposed to be able to read an HCG of 10, but surely I have less than that by now...?
I think it has a half-life of 48 hours so on Wednesday it should have been down to 6 or 7. I know of so many people getting their bfp in the cycle right after a m/c so they would have had similar hcg levels as you. So I assume it is completely possible and even favourable (I'm sure not only does it sway pink but you are more fertile after m/c). Try not to worry and start thinking positive fertile/ implantation thoughts!

M.J. - looked at your chart just now & YAY for crosshairs!!! I think you O'd and if so, you're super fertile so just sit back and go on auto-pilot for a few days. I don't know a lot about HCG levels and whether or not you could get preg but I would think that if you indeed O'd, you could get preg...I don't think you would have O'd if the levels were too high! OHHHHH.....so excited for you!
Well, we didn't have an attempt yet but will tonight for sure! I've been putting a bit of RepHresh in there for the past 3 days...not a lot but enough to help. We'll use Sylk too. I'm so ready for another baby...better be on your way, stork!!!

I was just in the bathroom and decided to check my cervix and found brown spotting with a teeny bit of red streaking. Not sure what that means after O? Maybe O didn't come after all, and this is a precursor to an early af? (if I'm not going to get a BFP, the best case scenario would be an early af, because it would mean I could make another attempt 2 weeks from now). Maybe it's still spotting from the m/c? On my u/s 2 weeks ago there was still a teeny amount of tissue present, but I figured with a full week of bleeding after that it was probably gone by now. Is there such a thing as post-O spotting? It's too early for implantation unless FF has my O date wrong.
I just found this online when searching about spotting at 3dpo:
"...the irritation caused by egg lining or Corpus Luteum (something like that!) as it implants high in the falopium tubes can cause bleeding....and this would be a few days after o."
I'll try to stay hopeful, though part of me thinks this spotting just means my m/c still isn't complete :(.

If you get positive OPK but no temp shift that would be false.
