Swayed for a girl and we are having a .....

Some of the ladies were asking about a stats thread for those who have done the Low Everything diet. I find this quite difficult because when we're looking at just one aspect we're not taking in to consideration that the other aspects we were doing may have been completely different to each other! However, I do see the benefit so I'll start a list and ladies who are happy to share please post below - let us know whether you're having a boy or a girl and which diet (LE/IG/FGD/Other) you followed. I think it's probably beneficial to also mention what dietary supplements (if any) you were taking (not herbs like Vitex, just the ones which add more nutrients) and maybe how long you were on the diet for before your BFP. If anybody has any other ideas let me know and we'll incorporate them.

I'll start off:

Girl

zanacal - LE diet for 3 months, no supplements.
Sunset - IG diet for 4-5 months with cranberry, calcium and magnesium supplements.

I hope you get added to that list too! Yes, my sway is in the girl sway attempts section.

Holy crap, you did way, way, way more than I did to sway!

I did a typical IG sway which resulted in GIRL. I did strict IG diet for 12 weeks prior to my first attempt (fell pregnant second month trying) so will have been on strict IG diet for a total of 4-5 months when i got pregnant. I took cranberry, calcium and magnesium supplements :)

Annabel - it doesn't really matter, what matters is how YOUR body reacts to whateveer it is that you're doing and that's different for everybody and something we don't have ultimate control over either!

Maggie Pie did an LE style sway and got a girl.

I swayed IG/LE and am having a girl in Sept. 2012. My only IG elements were diary consumption and ions.

Dream Members, there's a running tally with names and stuff here followed by several pages of discussion.

Non-Dream Members, all the sways are in the Add Your Sway section but just for your convenience, the stats I have currently are:

IG sway (took cal-mag, often include timing, douching, etc) - 13 success, 13 failure

Gender Dreaming/ LE Diet sway (no cal-mag and followed the LE Diet, usually have a more laid back approach with timing and most did not douche) - 15 success, 5 failure.

Please keep in mind that there was some crossover between the two groups - people included some aspects of LE in their IG sway and vice-versa and also some people did less intense sways or got pg before swaying for very long.

I conceived a girl doing LE Diet and vitex. Both my husband and I ate the least amount of calcium, most amount of caffeine in our lives. My last sway was an IG sway with high cal/mag intake, B6 etc and I got a boy with that.

I did the LE diet with the usual supps and got a girl.

I swayed LE diet and resulted in a girl. It was a major change for me. I also added magnesium, calcium, and lots of CL. DH was VERY strict too and I think this was a big success in our sway. He did the licorice root, CL and cranberry. We are a big beef family and completely cut that out. I did have some feeling of anemia and had to add in some protein.
