I am interested in this too since I will be taking vitex for my attempt
girls girls and more girls. i had no idea it swayed girl but i had these fertility blend pills. i took those with the first got pregnant with a girl. 2nd baby we wanted a boy so we used a simple timing sway ( again i took vitex) got another girl. 3rd baby. we did timing and boy diet but stupid me i took the vitex again thinking it made me pregnant so easily so it just helped with the egg implanting. again another girl. 4th one i stil had no idea about vitex. so we did diet, suppliments, timing. got another girl. they don't mention vitex in boy sways. so i didn't know it swayed girl. i just thought i was taking a prenantle vitamin. until a friend of mine decided to sway a girl and told me about vitex swaying girl. needless to say i didn't use it with the last 2 but i got girls anyway.
Was it the fertility blend vitamin for women?

yea i bought 2 of them from the conception store online or something like that its been awhile. but there was a fertilitycare blend for women and one for men which i bought but my husband refused to take. after i learned vitex swayed girl i read the label and sure enough it contained vitex, quite bit if i remember correctly.
Thanks girlmom. I assume that you obviously weren't swaying then? i was sure more women would have experience but it doesn't seem to be the case.
Hmmm I am wondering what atomics thoughts on for that vitamin by Fertility Blend for swaying pink
i was swaying.. i was just swaying blue. my best advice is take the vitex i don't think it will hurt anything. drink alot of milk. my dh loves ice cream, i never ate breakfast and we always bd after a nice hot shower. after that the diet and the pills and the stupid moon phases and douching meant nothing.
well I will be ttcing soon, I am swaying and waiting, I will be taking vitex, i am thinking about a march or april so i will have about 3 or 4mos of vitex in me, hopefully it will work for me, I am browsing the "add your girl sway" section the ones that have been updated and see if any took vitex and what the outcome was
I dont wont to name names without permission but I found one so far that took vitex and is having a boy
I took Vitex (also Saw Palmetto) and am expecting a girl.
good luck, i don't think any sways are 100% I accidently swayed girl this time. im not sure what im having but odds say that its finally my boy regaredless. i guess if you really really want a girl you could just have 7 or 8 kids like me. one is bound to be a girl hehe. fx you get a girl soon

I can't make up my mind if i want to use vitex. Vitex can screw up your cycles, but that's actually GOOD. you WANT your cycles to be weird and different than they were before because that can mean your hormones are different from when you conceived your son.Quote:

I've read conflicting advice about taking Vitex and BF that's why I'm so hesitant to take it while feeding. I'm also wondering if having had a baby has altered my hormones anyway...Perhaps they are more girl friendly since being PG and having a baby? Who knows?!Quote:

i took vitex breastfeeding and I quit because it turned my sons poop a dark greenish and funky smelling about 4/5 days of taking it, I quit vitex and his pooped turned back to normal so i thought maybe it wasnt vitex and started taking it again and about 4/5 days of taking it his pooped turned that color again, it bothered me so i quit and his poop went back normal, everybody I talked to that breastfeed and took vitex thinks this is weird and never had this issue, my son had no other side effects it just bothered me that he was getting enough of it in my milk to effect his poop so I quit it, that was with ds3 i conceived ds4 a couple of months later while breastfeeding too by accident it was a one night of chance with no protection didnt think we would conceive because breastfeeding had my cycles crazy still, but breastfeeding I was told sways pink too
Personally I believe vitex to be way more tested and safe while BF than cranberry.
If you think vitex is affecting your BF child in a negative way, absolutely stop taking it then. Different people's bodies handle things differently.
Just because soemthing sways pink, doesn't make it in any way foolproof of course. :)
Just wanted to tell you that I found out my friend found out yesterday she is expecting her 2nd girl. She used vitex for each ofher ttcing periods in order to regulate her cycles (it took her 9 and 6 cycles to conceive). She actually was hoping for a boy this time. She never swayed....
I was taking a lot of "Nursing Teas", Tonic, and herbal pills trying to increase my Bmilk for DS1 who stopped nursing but I was giving it to him in his cup... When I stopped pumping and was giving up the herbs I got prego with DS2. It could have been one of the other herbs that swayed boy but I was taking a lot of Vitex.
DS1 - No vitex
DS2 - Vitex
DS3 - Vitex
Newly pg with No vitex.
Unfortunately none of these things are magic bullets!! Good luck amy!
Ok atomic, I've stopped bf 14 mo ds (only 4 days ago) & I was due to O yesterday but didnt & have checked again today & still + opk. I can't check my cm as I've had some light spotting since I stopped bf & my bbt is all over the shop because its been extremely hot here so I've had the a/c on so my temps have been up & down. I want to start taking vitex, can I just start taking it mid cycle?
Also, I will be using Aci-jel and SYLK...can I us them both at the same time?

I just came across this thread. Very interesting. Hadn't considered it until now that I have 6 weeks off to play around with. Atomic, is this something that would be good for me to use once I get AF in the next few days until the next AF since I have Feb off? I asked this in another thread too. Thanks!

My friend recommended vitex to me and she had a baby boy.
You can start taking vitex in mid cycle but NOT if you're TTC. Can't take vitex if you might be pg. In fact you should test before you start taking it every month, even if you are 100% sure you're not pg. I had what seemed to be a perfectly normal AF and took vitex for 2 weeks and was pg the entire time. :(Quote:

I did answer your other thread already but yes, since you cannot TTC right now anyway, I would start vitex now and take it straight thru the next month, then come off on CD 1 and start your Clomid on CD 3-5.Quote:

Sometimes vitex can delay O. After taking it for a few months I actually had to stop taking it thru O and stop it 1-2 days before O, because if I kept taking it, I would jsut never O at all.
I got a + opk thursday night (had only been taking vitex for 4 days so I assume that played no part in that) & had ewcm thursday & friday. Today its creamy so thinking I O yesterday. Hopefully my temps will support that.Quote:

I got ds2 taking vitex. I was taking it for about 6 months before conceiving this time and stopped, the cycle after I got pg. I had a vague memory of atomic saying she knew people who'd been taking it who stopped and then got a girl...worth a try since I wanted to do something different from last time!
