Hi there! Would going gluten free help with egg quality? It’s fairly easy for me to do since my husband is mostly gluten free, but I’d have to rethink some of my quick and easy meals... TIA!

If you have a gluten sensitivity it may, and also if you cut down on highly refined carbs. But if you DON'T have a gluten sensitivity, and simply change from eating wheat to eating massive mounts of refined corn and rice products, they can be worse than nothing for egg quality. (like many things, it matters how you do it!)
Oh very interesting! I don’t have a sensitivity, i was hoping it would be an easy way to eliminate those other refined carbs.
Also, sorry, random question. I was thinking about using a sauna suit while on the treadmill (makes me sweat a ton). Do you see any glaring red flags with doing that? Thanks again!!
A lot of people go onto GF diets and start eating GF bread which is made of rice and corn and is super carby. So if you can avoid that pitfall I'm fine with it.
Can you explain to me why you want to do a treadmill in the sauna? For your sway??
Arg, sorry to bounce back and forth, but is durum wheat pasta ok? I tried figuring it out, but it’s hard to apply info to swaying :suprise:
I was wondering if the sauna suit help with diminished physical condition? It definitely causes a lot of water weight to come off
No, that's not ok. That can really make you very ill and NOT in the diminished condition way. We're already playing around with our electrolytes a bit by cutting back on food intake and taking fiber. Please do not do anything to make yourself sweat excessively as getting your electrolytes out of whack can literally kill you and it would do nothing for your sway anyway.
Got it, thank you!!
I know brands and stuff are tricky, but any suggestions on pastas that aren’t highly fortified or enriched? Whole Foods has a durum pasta (it’s their brand) and it seems to have less nutrition than others, I’m hoping this fits the bill? I’m sorta panicking about everything as my birthday s around the corner and I thought I’d be done with ttc at this point so thank you so much for all your knowledge and patience!!
It's fine for a sway but is not gluten free.
If you're talking about "improving egg quality by cutting back carbs" then durum wheat pasta is considered refined (durum wheat is NOT whole grain). But that having been said because it's higher in protein it is not as bad for egg quality as white bread or Twinkies or whatever. A lot of people fudge on pasta and then do other whole grain foods instead.
PERFECT! You are absolutely the best!
