hello,
I'm writing from France and I'm looking for stories of women who went to the "North Cyprus IVF Clinic" and who got pregnant because I'm in contact with Ahmed (Tup Bebek KIBRIS), the Clinic seem good, they pratice PGD + Microsort for sex selection but I don't find any success stories so I'am a little bit afraid : does it work there ?!!!
please tell me if you got pregnant or if you know someone who got pregnant thanks to this clinic?

Hello! Alors Carine, sache déjà que tu n'es pas la seule française sur les forums qui parlent de PGD ( la preuve!!). Tu trouveras un post en français sur le site "in gender .com" sous le titre "Genesis questions". En ce qui concerne la Chypre il y a peu de bons commentaires sur les cliniques situées au nord donc en Turquie. La seule clinique qui a de bons échos c'est genesis situé en Chypre du sud côté européen mais toutes celles qui y sont allées ne sont pas unanimes non plus. Après, restent les US qui semblent être les plus performants mais là aussi il y a des avis négatifs.. Dur, dur de choisir, n'est ce pas? Moi, je vais chez genesis en juillet pour un premier cycle mais je sais déjà que j'en ferai certainement d'autres car j'aurai 38 ans cet été et je ne veux qu'un seul embryon transféré ( si embryon il y a!!). J'espère que ça t'aidera..

Ce qui m'embête chez Genesis c'est qu'ils ont leur propre méthode de tri des spermatozoïdes mais a-t-on assez de recul sur cette méthode? Est-elle sans risques? Pourquoi n'est-elle pas plus répandue dans le monde alors? J'avais pris contact avec le Dr Savvas et en effet cette clinique m'avait l'air bien.. Mais j'avais une préférence pour North Cyprus IVF car ils utilisent MicroSort, sauf que je ne trouve absolument aucun témoignage de femme qui soit tombée enceinte suite à leur traitement.. Moi aussi j'ai déjà 3 garçons, donc je ne veux transférer qu'un seul embryon..
En tous cas merci encore pour ta réponse et plein de +++ pour cet été, si tu le permets je souhaiterais garder contact avec toi pour suivre ton aventure (je suis aussi sur le forum de doctissimo "DPI à l'étranger"). C'est qu'il est tellement difficile d'aborder ce sujet sur les forums et de trouver de la documentation !!

No never heard of people who came back pregnant after ivf/pgd in Nort Cyprus IVF.....I know a few people came back pregnant after seeing dr Savvas Koundouros from the Genesis clinic in south cyprus. I'm going for my second attempt in April, wish me luck!!!!
Au contraire! Je me sentirai soutenue comme ça! J'ai vu que tu avais trouvé l'autre post sur in gender, je pense que tu as dû y trouver pas mal d'infos. Mais bon, cela reste des discussions et en effet rien qui relève d'études réelles ou officielles donc chacune essaie de se rassurer mais en fonction des expériences vécues ce ne sont pas les mêmes points de vue.. En effet, pas de positif sur les forums sur les cliniques de la Chypre du Nord mais ce n'est pas du tout certain que toutes les femmes qui font ce traitement en parle sur des forums!! Concernant les discussions sur Internet, en effet il ne s'agit que d'une minime partie des filles qui partent faire une DPI à l'étranger, mais je pense que ça reflète quand même un échantillon, si pour aucune d'elles ça n'a marché à Chypre Nord et que ça a marché pour d'autres à Chypre Sud, ça donne quand même une idée.. De toutes façons c'est tellement tabou qu'on ne peut se fier qu'à ça et se faire soi-même, comme tu dis, sa propre opinion !! Je croise aussi les doigts pour toi pour juillet, tiens-moi au courant !!

I went to north cyprus iVF as I was really impressed with amit and his emails, my view changed when I got there. I have chosen not to go back there.
I meet several ladies when there, and some had similar concerns as I had. I was very glad my cycle was cancelled, not sure I would have gone through with it even if I could have done.
Really was it so bad? What happened? When are you going to Savvas?

I ma going to see Dr Savvas I need accomodation ideas for 4 adults and 3 children.
Ask Savvas, he gave me the email address of someone called Anthony who has helped us with accommodation and transfers from the airport, got us a much better deal. When are you cycling?Quote:

I am staying at the Louis Apolonia, the food is lovely, hotel is fine, lots of the older generation here that love the kids. The rooms are clean but need updating. Could I just ask you something about sperm sorting of Genesis?
Do you know how long Genesis practice method of sperm sorting? how do they do? what do they use? how is it different from MicroSort? how to know if it does not "damage" sperm? are there been negative feedback?
Please give me your impressions about it !! Because I'm afraid using their own sperm sorting without knowing if the method is good or not !! I thank you :)

There are 2 Dr Savvas, right? Gail is talking about Northy Cyprus and not Genesis, correct?

Hi chattymonkey. Nobody on here goes to North Cyprus. They all use Genesis in South Cyprus. He doesn't get great results either but that's who they use. All the stats, info are in the Private/Dream Member forum.
Chattymonkey dr Savas oyzigit is from north Cyprus ivf clinic and we have never seen people coming back pregnant. Also we hear many negative story's about how they treat their patients.
Dr Savvas (with 2 v's) Koundouros is from Genesis clinic in Limassol, South Cyprus. I got pregnant and many other women too. They are good for their patients. They don't have the succes rates like dr Potter but its an honest clinic.
Dogus in North Cyprus is also a bad clinic if we can trust the story's here on the board. Nobody came back pregnant.
