That is a cool idea! I would totally do that!! I wonder if they have the gender written in an envelope by the tech and give it to a bakery or what. Very cool!
Interesting that the mom getting a girl was super excited and the dad getting a boy was super excited!
I could never do that. Having a preference, I would not be good at faking if the baby wasn't the gender I wanted.

Oh wow, those vids are so cool, i never heard of this either. I think it would be so awesome for first time parents, almost as exciting as waiting for the birth, but you get to celebrate with all your friends, and eat cake !
I watched a few others and some of them, you can see the parents to be shaking so bad they can't cut the cake! It's such a moment but most of the videos seemed to be first time parents.

That's cool but unfortunately I could never do it. I'd cut into a blue cake and just cry my eyes out.
If I had done this with DS2 I would have burst into tears and ruined the moment for everyone else. I had to find out on my own and have a private breakdown!
A gender party? I newer even had a baby shower! I guess some ppl are lucky.
Wow! I 've never seen anything like that. I'm actually in tears here just looking at them so i know i just could'nt do it myself. It's a lovely idea though if you hadno preference.
I think this would have been fun for a first baby. But if you have really bad GD and several of that gender already and it's the gender you don't want it could make for a bad moment.
I may do a gender reveal party for my MIL if it is a girl... But I would want to know the gender first! We would be getting a gender scan right before DH's birthday and Mothers Day so I wonder if I can do that to his birthday cake. Or since we go to NV and eat at the Cheesecake Factory every year maybe the waitress can bring out a special cheesecake ;)
The 3rd video you can hear people saying "O well it's another boy" They are not as excited as the other 2 videos.

I have been planning on this since I saw my first gender reveal video last Summer. I'm way excited to do it!!! Nobody else in our family has had one. :)
I would love to have once after PGD, so I would secretly know and then get to celebrate it with everyone! :-)
