I am 40 years old and I was trying to get pregnant for more than a year

this cycle I get my postive ovulation test on my 12th day (my period usually 26 day)
when I see my positive I went to my doctor and she made a viginal ultrasound and she said I only have one ovum in my right ovary and it is too small ( she said this is the size of 9 th day )and said it is impossible to get pregnant with this size and if you get pregnant I will miscarry ��Then She advised me to have sex after two or three days when the ovum be bigger

but I am afraid to miss the the ovum I had sex only once next day (13th day)
my husband can not do more than once every four five days.


my question is Why do I have small ovum
Is this because I am older or because my cycle is less than 28 days
what I have to do to improve my fertality .

Well, she's misleading you. You won't ovulate an egg that is too small. It will sit there for a few days while it grows and THEN will be ovulated. You cannot get pregnant from an egg that has not been ovulated, so there is no way you would miscarry from that.

Your egg is small because it wasn't ready yet. EVERY egg is small when it isn't ready to be ovulated.

I think you got a false positive OPK and will likely ovulate in a few days when the egg grows a little larger. These types of cycles happen sometimes. I hope your hubby is able to have sex again when your true surge and ovulation happens.

No, it isn't, and you should avoid it like the plague.

It has a high dose of Vitamin E which has been linked to heart defects in unborn babies, it has arginine and green tea which can wildly mess up your cycle and possibly stop ovulation totally, and it has vitex/chasteberry which also wildly messes up people's cycles, may sway pink, and inhibits conception so much it was used as birth control in the Middle Ages.

Don't ask me why they sell this stuff.

No, please don't. It does not help improve your fertility and it has delayed and even stopped people's ovulation.

my husband libedo is low (only once every 4-5 days )but his semin analysis is good

Your follicle will grow over time. I would go later in the month to see if it is continuing to grow. That is what usually happens - people go in early in the month and think their follicle is small but then it grows normally, and they ovulate later than CD 14. I know this month something went wacky and you got your period earlier than you expected, and you probably didn't ovulate this month. But under normal circumstances, a small follicle at CD 10 doesn't mean anything. It just means the egg is coming later on than normal. That doesn't hurt anything and you can still get pregnant that way.
