Yes:) But see the knobby looking end on it? To me that really looks like a boy:) girls tend to be pointier and forked.
Yes i agree with DM, and the baby almost has its back arched, kind of streching, i think if it was more relaxed the nub would have a more pronaunced angle upwards.
Oh right yes someone mentioned to me about it being bulbous so this is more boy like then despite it looking straight to me?

Im not a nub expert but i thought id let you know that all 4 of my children had nubs identical to your bubs and they all BOYS
My boys have had very similar nubs to yours and they're definitely boys!

no that nub angle in not in line with the spine and greater than the 30 angle theory and is too small and low to be the chord so it must be the nub :)
5-even if it strait it has a bump on the top of it.And girls nubs just don't have bumps on it. So that's why I think it's a boy.
You should relax .The pic not gonna change .plus the head look boyish too.
agree with everyone here..the girly nubs are not only flat and forky...but are also very loong...a short nub with a bump on the end is most definitely a boy....ENJOY lucky mama! :D

TTC5- I'm not sure which state you're in but I went to woman's imaging for an 'early anatomy scan' at 16 weeks this week. It was important for me as I had to have vital organs checked because of my still born but I'm sure you could just ask your GP or OB for a referral. Radiologist said it was so easy to tell it was a boy. Anyway just thought I'd mention as that would only be approx 3 weeks away! Go on......:giggle:Quote:

TTC5- I going cray over my ultrasound pics too even though I was early tech said she knos it's a boy but I doubt it. I think the odds are against me. Yep I'm due 9-26. It's exciting. I go in next Thursday for an ultrasound and I'll b 14 weeks so hopefully they can tell by then. Would she still b looking for a nub?!

What are the chances that this nub is actually the cord?
To be honest I wouldn't be stressing yourself out so much! I would wait and find out when they can see the goods! You will only be shattered if it turns out to be a girl after so many boy guesses....and thats all they are guesses. I just don't think the nub is accurate enough to base hopes on when you have a large number of one gender and you are desperate for your DG. Take it as a bit of fun and wait a few more weeks until you will know for sure. I would hate to see you stressed over this for the next few weeks, it's bad for baby!
It's not cord. Cord looks like 3 lines floating. Yours is a penis.
