Told boy at 16 week scan and maybe girl at 20 weeks scan :/

Hi everyone,

Just wondered if this has happened to anyone else before. Was told at 16 week gender scan baby was a boy. Then at 20 weeks told maybe girl :/

I don't have potty shot ones just got the normal pics as you do :/ x

We get potty shots here so can't really help you without seeing something but yes, it is totally possible to be told wrong at the earlier scan. A boy should have been obvious by now unless there was all cord and/or baby was in a poor position.

Yes, it's possible but it usually goes the other way - girls turn into boys.

I totally agree, a boy should be glaringly obvious at both 16 and 20 weeks.

Which were you hoping for??

I hope that you have peace of mind regardless.

My friend was told boy at 14 wks and found out he was a she at 18!

Seems its not just me this has happened to then!

I think its a sign we are not meant to know :) x

My cousin had a baby girl last summer. She was told boy at an u/s around 15 weeks, then girl a few weeks later. Baby is all girl!

I heard that it's possible! At 15 weeks a baby girl might still look like a boy.
