Hi , i just had my scan and ultrasound tech refused to guess based on nub and she refused to give me a pic of the nub, but i think i have found a few with what looks like a total boy nub ,im kinda numb right now this was my last shot at a girl and i cant believe this is happening to me, im shattered to say the least :sad:

Im not sure that white line is the nub, have you posted over in ingender? They have techs there (sorry not sure if there are any here) who might be able to help.
I know how you feel I have 3 boys & this is my last bubs, I have come to accept that there is a strong possibility that bubs will be another boy.
Try not to feel down about it, I know its hard but just think how cute & gorgeous ur little man (if it is a boy) will look & how much love ul have for him. Plus I dont know about you but my 3 are a handful & in some ways a boy would fit in better, not sure I would have time to do all the girlie things with a girl that I would like without my boys being a little left out.

Thanks everyone , tech was not even willing to entertain me on the nub theory:sigh:,i asked her for a clear pic of it and she said she wasnt alowed to ,apparantly they stopped doing it last year as they had so many that turned out to be opposites and they had complaints, she was nice enough just not willing to cater to my obsession LOL
right through the scan i would of sworn it was girl ,nothing obvious sticking out between the legs when she was looking from underneath, baby head looked different than my boys , all through the scan i kept seeing a white line which i thought was the nub and it had no big bump on the top like my boys did so i thought i was good, and then when the baby did a big stretch that white line raised right up (which is what you can see in the top pic) thats when i knew it was all over and it was boy#5 and ive been crying ever since :sad:

@4boys, I totally understand how you are feeling. I have 5 boys myself and this is a hard time. But keep in mind nothing is 100% yet. I've seen a lot of "boy" nubs turn into little girls and vice versa. Please keep calm untill your 16 week genderscan. Then, if indeed it's a little brother you will find peace with it in time, I promiss!!

I think its natural to cry & far better now to let it all out then bottle it up until bubs is born. I think its very hard to find people who understand the desire for a different gender when u have all the same. Thank goodness for these sort of forums is all I have to say, somewhere where people actually understand that your not ungrateful for wanting a particular gender, its just the way you feel!
I have had countless people tell me "you know its going to be a boy, dont you". I know people are just trying to prepare me for the real possibility its another boy but sometimes it can get on my nerves a bit.

Hi 4boys, I was looking at your first scan photo and comparing it to mine and I think the "nub" in the first photo is too thin to be a boy nub, I kind that bright white line in fact could be the edge of the cord, its position is roundabout where the cord would be anyway, if you look below that is a bud shape which could mean its a girl, and the fact that there is no protruding nub sticking out higher than 30 degrees compared to some of the other scans on the forum that are boys, I think there is a good chance that your baby could be a girl. The other two photos show no solid evidence to me that its a boy either I can't see a protruding nub like you see in other boy scan photos. I don't think you should give up yet. There's a perfectly good chance still and these photos don't confirm anything. I pray with all my heart you get your baby girl. :HH:
I can see why you would be thinking this is a boy from that first pic, i think it looks like a boy too, but hey i have been wrong before, and it is way early still. I have my fingers crossed for you that this one turns out to be your girl.
Ill add the bladder /potty shot also , does this show anything??

PErsonally, I don't see anything on any of the pics that says 100% boys. Praying you get that girl! Your feelings are normal and valid...adn we all get it. Love and blessings to you !
I really can't tell with these pictures. With my DS3 we found out the gender and I could see it right away. It was very obvious he was a boy. Your little one may be a boy, but I certainly wouldn't be stocking up on the blue and ruling out the pink just yet.
I can't tell too much either, but it doesn't look boyish!

the bladder is too high to see gender parts (talking about the potty shot).
I would ever so sligthly lean boy based on your first shot, but we arent seeing all of it, so there is plenty of room for error. I so wish you will get your one girl, life can be so unfair. I feel so down about some user making a comment (I only saw the quote since the original post has been thankfully deleted) It is those kinds of people that make us feel disappointed even more. The only reason I am worried about having another boy is those peoples comments. nothing else.
Praying this is your girl that happens to have a somewhat angled nub in one of her pics ;)
I'm not sure either way but i'm going to say girl and hope it is.
I really didnt see anything boyish & feel you are still def in with a strong chance of pink.
Please dont let anyone bully or guilt you into thinking your feelings aren't valid, as they are and I'm sure we can all relate to them here. I dont have any pink dust to gve you, but truly hope you get a precious little girl!!
