Here we go AGAIN!
One of these days I'm going to join DM, lol.
Here we are, for those who followed my fiasco last year with the loss of my PGD boy twins. I've spent an additional year taking care of me. My FSH in July was an incredible 6.3 and my E2 65. Not bad for 42!!! So we went forward. Naturally my dr and PGD tech didn't communicate, put me on BCPs for 2 days told me to stop which caused a mid-cycle AF. My E2 was over 400! Well, DUH!!! They tried to pass it off as "everyone is different" Bullcrap! They know pumping hormones into someone will spike!
To make matters worse, 2 weeks later when AF showed up for real, they made me do the Clomid challenge again. 5 days of 100mg... UM NO!!! I took it for the first 3 since my FSH still hadn't baselined, it was 9.9 on day 3 so after 3 days of clomid it went up to 12.9!!! I'm livid!!!
Here's the kicker! I'm CD 19 right now and I'm feeling like crap. The clomid is obviously still in my system wreaking havoc! I'm crampy, nauseous, runny nose, back pain, and my boobs hurt. I know these are all clomid symptoms, but just to be sure, I'm taking a cheapie tomorrow so I can relax. I wouldn't be so concerned, but I've been on a cleaning kick and that's not typical me, lol.
At any rate, we're waiting this next cycle out so I can clear all this crap they pumped into me out then we'll cycle in December. FINALLY!!!!
-
Just an update: I got a call from my RE's office that they screwed up (yeah, no kidding!!!) and I did NOT need the clomid challenge after all . So we're cycling later this month. Nothing like pumping me full of unnecessary hormones and wasting my time.
-
Boo! But best of luck with your new cycle! Come over to DM... Where are you cycling?
-
How frustrating! Good luck on your cycle!

I am also cycling at FCNE. I am sorry you went through that clomid mess. Did they give you reasoning as to why they did that?
-
Who is your Dr.?
They thought I had BCBS/MA which requires it, but I have BCBS/RI which doesn't. Good thing is AF on her way again and all is normal!
-
Dr Weiss. Who is yours ? Oh good news about AF!
-
I have Dr Weiss too, but if I get one more conflicting statement, I'm changing dr's. Getting real irritated with being told 3 different protocols every time I call.
-
I would book appointment with him to go over everything again to make sure you are on the same page. That is ridiculous. Are they major differences ?
