Understanding SA results
Gp has recommended DH get another one done. There was a 65 minute delay for testing after he dropped it off. Not impressed.
I have tried googling to understand the results a little better. GP said they are good and we shouldn't have a problem falling pregnant. More just poorly planned bd efforts and months of stress. Last month was the first time we didn't have outside influences impacting TTC.
Here are the results
Macroscopic appearance Normal
Liquefaction Normal
Vol of ejaculate 3.0 mL (>1.4)
Sperm Count 118 (>14)
Forward Linear Motility 51 % (>39)
Grade 0 49 % non-motile
Grade 1 8 % non- progressive
Grade 2 43 % progressive (>39)
Viability: Live sperm 49L % (>57)
Normal 18 % (>3)
Amorphous Head 82 %

I think they're good too!! :bluecheer:

The viability is slightly below the recommended minimum but that was probably due to the delay. Other than that, looks really good :<

I am hoping this month is a success!
If not, DH wants to get back and get another SA done. Just in case the delay wasn't the issue. It is bulk billed through our GP so that helps.

Even if it wasn't the delay, it's only just below. How long have you been TTC?

I think it's a very nice SA and I wouldn't even worry one iota about it. This WILL happen for you guys soon!

Boom
Since June last year.
Never had issues before and ended up with delayed ovulation in multiple cycles and a cyst as well.
