http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti...1/?tool=pubmed This study is next-to-impossible for the layman to understand, but I just read the book "The 10,000 Year Explosion" by Gregory Cochran and Henry Harpending and it discusses this study at length.

In short, people of African descent carry a genetic difference that makes them much more likely to retain salt in their bodies, probably as a prevention mechanism against dehydration and electrolyte imbalance while living in hotter climates. Research indicates this may be a major reason why African-Americans have higher rates of hypertension - their bodies cannot rid themselves of salt as easily as Asians and Europeans can.

It is not worth anyone's health or wellbeing to sway!!!

Well, the odd thing is that despite this genetic difference and also the fact that over 75% of people of African heritage are lactose intolerant and don't eat a lot of dairy, Black people are still more likely to conceive girls than other races are. :think: To me this indicates that minerals do not matter (or at least not in the way that the FGD people claim.) So don't sweat it (literally or figuratively! ;))

I just really, really want people to be very careful and not do anything for swaying that will affect their health in the long term because there are so many people out there who do nothing and still get their DG!!! Good luck!
