Please don't worry too much about your husband's age, we get boys and girls at all ages, it's just one of those things that is a little bit more pink friendly.
Tons of us have gotten boys eating mainly fish and eggs and beans. I would stick to no more than 2x a week with tofu and other soy foods as they may be a little pink friendly and I would stick to that intake during pregnancy as well. Some studies have indicates that high intake of soy during pregnancy may be associated with birth defects in the genitals of baby boys.
4 lb. weight gain is good for your sway, it is fine to hold steady where you are at from here on in.
Are you exercising?? Lifting weights will help your sway and also control the weight gain.
