Ooooo I'm not sure?! I'm having ground cinnamon in my lemon hot water every morning though...
When i went to buy some there was two types ceylon cinnamon and cassia cinnamon, i wasnt sure which one to get so thought i would ask first. Does lemon in hot water sway girl?
Didn't even know there were two types! Hopefully someone else knows - though I suspect there isn't enough data to say categorically one way or another. I think lemon and hot water is more likely to sway blue if anything but if it's instead of something MORE blue That they drink then could be part of a pink sway maybe? Xx
There are two types- Cassia cinnamon, which you can get at grocery stores, and Ceylon cinnamon, or bakers/baking cinnamon. The difference is that the Cassia type causes blood thinning to occur in large quantities, which are needed to lower blood sugar levels in diabetics or people with PCOS. Ceylon cinnamon does not have this effect as it is from a different plant altogether. However, unless you are insulin resistant, are pre-diabetic, diabetic, or have been confirmed to have PCOS, do NOT add cinnamon to your sway! It can cause your blood sugar levels to plummet dramatically after eating or taking it. Very little causes this to occur- I'm talking as little as 1/8 of a teaspoon!! The degree to which they can plummet quickly can be potentially life threatening if it is not indicated for you to take.
HTH!!

Atomic said that lemon is possibly thought to sway blue but no substantial evidence to back that; I have it as it makes the cinnamon more palatable. I've been having it for months and haven't experienced any undesirable effects as yet but I'll have a look into that xxforhubby....
Cinnamon is not for just anyone to use. It's only for people with PCOS or insulin resistance or a lot of weight to lose.
Cinnamon can REALLY lower blood sugar. I take it myself (because I'm old and gaining weight due to middle age spread) and even though I'm not really dieting, it makes me have major blood sugar crashes. Anyone doing LE Diet who is not insulin resistant can really mess themselves up and end up faint when taking/using it and it can also make weight come off much faster, so I do not recommend this for anyone to take.
Lemon water probably does nothing, but I know most of you guys want to avoid things that are said to sway blue and because of that I don't recommend it as a general rule.
I know it has been a year since this post but I agree with atomic on this one - if I sprinkle cinnamon on my fruit (it tastes amazing btw!), I definitely end up with low sugar (fatigue, lightheaded, shaking) a few hours later & it takes quite a lot to bring it back up. I wouldnt recommend it either - just not worth it
Thank you!!! I really appreciate you guys sharing your experiences!!
