I had an elective ultrasound at 13+6 weeks and since I know it’s still early I am having a hard time believing it is a boy, any opinions?
I have the anatomy scan next month.

I have the anatomy scan next month.
I’m surprised they told you gender this early. I’ve heard potty shots aren’t really that accurate until 15 ish weeks as girls still often have a protruding clitoris at this stage.
It does look boyish but i’d not announce or paint the nursery just yet. Are you hoping for a boy?
Yes we are hoping for a boy. They do gender ultrasounds here at 14 weeks or 15 I was turning 14 weeks the day after the us.
I would not go by a potty shot at this stage, even at 14 weeks. Really potty shots are better at 16+ weeks.
:nails: I guess I have no choice but to wait for my 18 week anatomy scan :(
Did they give you a nub?
Just like the others have said, potty shots are not reliable. I've seen people be fooled by cord and the baby's hand, let alone the clitoris which is very prominent at this point . And that's not even a very clear shot! 50-50 for now.
They did not give me a nub shot, all I got is 3D and not profile ones. I know it wasn’t baby’s hands cuz they were behind it’s head and she showed us the cord and it wasn’t on the way. But I can’t say it wouldn’t be girl parts. The only other ultrasound I got is from 9 weeks and I don’t think those are nub reliable are they?
No, sorry nub is too early at 9 weeks.
FXFXFX!
Thanks for replying.! I’ll be anxiously waiting for my 18 week ultrasound.
