Any hope for a girl?
Hi, I'm 8 weeks pregnant and have been on this site for a while documenting my journey. For starters, I have 2 boys already and was on the PCOS LE diet for 12+ weeks, with one attempt to sway girl.
But I can't stop worrying that even at this early stage every sign is telling me this sway hasn't worked. From getting pregnant first cycle like with my boys, to feeling twinges on my right hand side only. Now my pregnancy symptoms are exactly the same; savoury cravings, super hungry, mild nausea only, super tired. The combination of all these things make me feel less hopeful that my sway worked, which of course I would get over eventually, but it's still such a long time until I find out, so a long time waiting and worrying.

I had the all the same symptoms with all three pregnancies and one of them (last one) is a girl.
Symptoms say nothing what the gender will be

Huge congrats! Symptoms don't predict gender. My two most similar pregnancies were my second boy and my girl. My other three (all boys) were dramatically different from each other and from the two that were the same.
The Y chromosome is dormant into the 10th week of gestation. It is sleeping and not doing anything at all. So it literally can't be making testosterone or anything to even give you different symptoms.
I have talked to tons of people and there is just no pattern here. I have people coming to me in a panic because their symptoms are too different to be their desired gender (such as, they want 2 of the same) and people in a panic because their symptoms are too much the same. There is never anything to it, it amounts to nothing - no trend there at all!

Identical symptoms with both of mine, too...and got pregnant faster with girl versus boy :) good luck 🍀

Well thank you guys, that is reassuring. I’m going to book a scan at 16 weeks so will hopefully find out then for definite. Might get a few clues at the 12 week scan, but at least I have some hope back!
