Short notice sway?
I’m reasonably sure I will ovulate on January 27. I haven’t been perfect about the LE diet. I’m vegetarian and a fairly light eater to begin with (but have two boys, so idk). Is there ***anything*** I can try to do in the next two weeks that will make any difference? I have long cycles so if this round fails, we’re stuck waiting another 7 weeks- ugh! But I’m really really really hoping our girl is coming soon.

So you have long cycles and you're a vegetarian?? Do you generally eat a lot of carbs?? I wonder if you have some PCO-tendencies we could work on.
When it comes to the last minute, the best thing is to have one attempt. It's easy to do and controllable.
But I do think you might want to make some diet changes (going to whole grains, limiting sugar, ahving full fat dairy ONLY, no skim) starting right away.

How close to the 27 should we get? Like the 22? My cycles have been 38 days for the last 4 (I’m 13 months postpartum) but every app says the 27 should be ovulation (and I *think* they are accurate because they’ve been dead on for when CD1 would be)

I'm sorry I am not following what you are talking about at all, can you clarify?
-
Sorry...I guess what I’m saying is, if we only dtd *once* in the cycle, and we *think* ovulation would be on the 27, should we do it on the 23rd?

I can't recommend that, it would be very low chance of conception if you indeed ovulate on the 27th.
4 day cutoffs have been shown to have about 1 in 1000 chance of conception and timing doesn't sway anyway.
If you want to do timing, please stick to a 2 or 3 day cutoff max.
