Stay positive and listen to Atomic
Having been hugely fortunate with my third sway, and feeling hugely grateful to this forum, it occurred to me that I’d not posted on here for ages. We always wanted four kids, half and half (I was stupidly optimistic!) and after DS1 we swayed a bit for our second child, but I wasn’t aware of this site then so didn’t have much to go on, and DS2 was born. I then joined GD and thoroughly committed to the LE Diet and various other things that were showing good results at that time, like antihistamines and diet drinks, but not exercise (as I’m a lazy so and so), and DS3 was born. Our three sons are awesome of course, I don’t need to explain to you guys how this feels, but I was missing something. Then my mum passed away suddenly. We were really close and she’d supported me through my journey to get a girl. I felt lost without her but my step father passed on some money from her and I knew exactly what to do with it. We went to Dr Potter at HRC and had a great cycle with forty eggs retrieved with four normals, two male, two female. We transferred one but it didn’t stick and I went back a few months later for a frozen transfer but it also didn’t stick. We were gutted. It’s such a huge thing to go through. The medical side, the financial side, the emotional side - all tough. But I’m tough. So I came back to swaying and asked Atomic for pointers and went on the LE diet again, this time adding in 60 mins cardio 6/7 days a week. Our baby girl was the result. I’m so so grateful to Atomic and the supportive ladies I came across on here. Good luck to everyone who’s TTC xxx
