Is sex selection in Cyprus no longer possible?

Hi,
I am desperately searching for a way do get my DD after two boys.
Inspired by one of the success posts I read here, I just browses the homepage of British IVF in cyprus:

This is what I found there:
"According to the new legal regulations, PDG cannot be performed for gender selection. PGD can be performed just to genetic screening, when it is necessary for an illness or a risky situation."

Does anyone have more information?
Is this true for both North and South Cyprus?

So desperate. :-((

I actually found a reference to that somewhere else as well at a different clinic, but I believe people are still going there, so I wonder if it's being done a bit "wink wink, nudge nudge". It looked like some of the clinics are using a "swim up" procedure to aid in sex selection but that doesn't work very well at all, so proceed with great caution if the clinic really won't use PGD.

The truth is, Cyprus isn't the best option anyway. We see much better results with the American clinics.

thank you for your answer, altough I would have loved to be wrong, of course.
I would prefer a czech clinic, but this doesn't seem to be a safe option either. But before continuing, I'll write a post in the introduction forum.

Hi, GS in North Cyprus is allowed but not south cyprus. Some of the clinics in north Cyprus have had really bad results and women not had good experiences. For me from the U.K. USA was just not possible due to distance, cost, times scales etc.

The two that most women go to is British Kolan hospital and Bacchecci. I went to Kolan, unfortunately I wasn’t successful with my first cycle and second attempt cancelled due to covid and I’m now pregnant with a boy sway. They are lovely there, Zeren and Dr Z are really nice and professional and very caring. I have heard good things about Bacchecci being a more modern and bigger clinic, their results are fairly similar from the research I did, expect BC has larger numbers of women as bigger clinic. If you are looking at Cyprus I would focus on these two clinics.

Firstly Congratulations on your baby boy 👏🏻💙I have been speaking to Zeren but unfortunately haven’t got any further due to Covid but I’m just hoping they have good results, do you know if anyone who has gotten their chosen sex successfully at this clinic? I would love to go to the US but just don’t think it’s possible for us and as I’m 36 I feel like times running out, so just hoping that they are as good as they claim to be, x
