Taking vitamin d for past year now plan ttc pink

Hi I just wondered if anyone had any advice. I had a routine blood test last year and advised my vitamin d level was low and I should take a 4000 iu supplement every day. I am fit and well and just did a blood test just to see if I had low iron which runs in my family. I have been doing this but now want to ttc a girl. I would plan on doing the le diet for 3 months but wondered if it is better to wait longer? I know vitamin d sways blue and wondered if I need longer to get it out of my system so to speak. It doesn’t help that my husbands family have only produced boys in the last 6 generations!

Is your Vit. D still low?

It’s normal now.

I would wean off of it by spacing doses further and further out till down to one per week, then drop it.

Have you heard back about your iron?

Thankfully everything is normal.
